How wide and how thick is this tape?

Wide: I'd say 2 or 3mm. Thickness: its quite thin. I bought it because my lower teeth are so tight together, I couldn't get normal dental floss between them without it shredding.

Is this dental tape smooth?

Yes, and it doesn’t shred. I really like it. It moves easily between sensitive teeth, and does a good job.

Is the tape made of waxed thread string or plastic ribbon tape?

I’m not sure, but I would guess plastic ribbon tape. It is very strong like the waxed thread string though.

Aufgrund des breiten Fadens ein sehr gute Reinigungsleistung. Habe im unteren Bereich sehr engstehende Zähne, wo man mit Tepe Stäbchen nicht mehr reinkommt. Klappt mit dieser Zahnseide wunderbar.
