Water-JEL - Burn Dressing - 4" x 4"

Well I am definitely say I stand behind this product. I actually used it on myself for a bad sunburn. It took away the burn for a lil while. Nothing is permanent but it helped alot. There was enough gel to spread over my burn. Good product. I will continue to purchase

This is one of those items I purchased in the hopes of never having to use it...only to step barefoot on a white-hot coal from a charcoal grill a month after the burn dressing arrived. It is truly an astonishingly effective product! I applied it immediately after the accident, kept it in place for about 30 minutes, and ended up pain-free that same evening. The burn blistered briefly, but was completely healed (without scarring) within less than 72 hours. I am deeply impressed, and just purchased an additional 2 packs so we will remain well-stocked.

I purchased this to help with the pain from radiation burns I suffered in the treatment of breast cancer. This was an amazing product and will be forever grateful for it...It was the only thing that helped me and the pain I was in. I recommend this to anyone with burns from treatment.

I keep a few of these in the first aid kit in my car. I gave them four stars instead of five because the packaging could be a bit more compact. That said, yes, I’d buy again.

I have only used this item twice in my life. Once I poured scalding milk on my hand. The other time I poured scalding water right out of the microwave on my hand. Both times I was able to put the Water-Jel Dressing on my hand immediately. I kept it on until I could remove it without feeling and burning or pain. Neither time did I have any blisters, pain or redness after taking the dressing off. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to work completely but it is well worth the time. When you open the package you will find a gauze pad soaked in a gel. You will feel your burn cooling immediately after applying the gauze. It is good to put a piece of saran wrap or a plastic bag over the gauze as it will drip if you don't. I have never tried another brand so can't speak to whether others would work as well but I am so happy with Water-Jel that I am not going to try another. I would never be without this.

I had a very bad burn and nothing would relieve the pain. I checked the first aid cabinet in my office at work and this jel pack was in there, so I tried it. It instantly took the burn away for good, not just for a few minutes. It was very cool and soothing but had a slight odor. Highly recommend having this on hand.

I am a professional chef Recently one of my co workers burned her forearm on a hot sheet pan I immediately put one of these pads on the burn and within seconds she told me the burning had stopped !! I have gotten burned so many times in my career and wish I had known about these burn pads They are a little expensive but well worth the money !!

The glowing/5-star reviews are correct. This stuff works. I keep two large soaked gauze packs in the kitchen in case of hot water or grease burns. I also keep some smaller sub-once packets in my range bag for hot brass and hot barrel burns. Immediately soothes the area and stops the burning in its tracks.

Very good item to have in your first aid kit. Heals burns quickly.

I haven’t used it, it is my first aid kit in case of an emergency. Bought it after a friend told me using this reduced the damage on her hand after a cooking accident. Even the staff at the hospital were impressed

This burn gel saved my hand from extensive third-degree burns! I keep a package taped and labeled inside the cupboard above my stove. When a full jar of boiling wax spilled on my hand, I was able to grab rip open and stick my hand in the package within seconds of being burned. After two hours the only blister I had was on my thumb that had not been in the gel. This is essential for any kitchen and all first aid kits. The best product I have ever used. I am a Wilderness First Aid technician.
