Doesn't need any programming to the TV
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but this remote exceeded my expectations. It connected to my Philips Smart TV instantly without any hassle. The layout is easy to use, the buttons respond well, and I've had no issues so far. It's a solid replacement if you've lost or broken your original remote. Simple, affordable, and reliable. I would definitely buy it again.

work just like the original remote, even better once the extra four buttons are disabled.
Excellent product, exactly what i've been looking for and at a price i did'n't think 'id actually find.MY OWN PROBLEM, with these and every other roku remote so far, are the additional "extrA channel" buttons, usually 4 buttons below all the others. They are there so you can go to another channel with just one press. the Problem is that with just ONE PRESS, the roku whisks you off to another channel, probably one you dont even use, and with NO warning whatsoever. you're sitting on the couch, or in bed, and you shift your weight, you roll over, you pull the pillow closer, and KWAPOW, whatever true-crime show you were deeply concentratig on has vanished, replaced with the loading screen of another channel that you never watch and dont have a subscription too. you have to wait for that to load, FIND the remote where it's underneath a pillow and in a bowl of popcorn, go back to original channel, yadda yadda. if you are anything like me you accidentally hit one of those buttons at LEAST half a dozen times a day. But, i can report that i have fixed the issue and these remotes no longer have this particuar problem, they're awesome! once appropriately modified.

Works great
My puppies decided they wanted to start eating remote controls and every once in a while. Someone would use my remote and not put it up high, and they would eat it. So these are great because they do power and volume, as well. In extremely inexpensive

Works perfect for my TV! Our dog keeps chewing up our remote when we forget to put it up out of reach. This is our 2nd time ordering this replacement remote & no issues either time. Great price. Highly recommend!
