Perfect travel video camera?
Love this camera. Bought it for travel so I had a way to create little videos for personal memory. It's small, discreet, works well, and is simple. Batteries last well (and this pack comes with the extra battery). Mic sound quality is great (and comes ready paired). Easy to transfer files to my computer or iPad. Gimble is fantastic. The little tripod is super useful. I got in the black friday sale and felt the value was good - now the new one is out this is even cheaper. Now take it everywhere.

A crazy good camera with little to no compromise!
I've been using my Osmo Pocket 3 for just over a month now, and can definitvely say that this is by far and away the best video camera I've had the pleasure of using I bought this one after many months of debating, and seeing them, and their predecessors in person. I'm absolutely not regretting my decision. As a photographer, I use multiple different devices for different things. Using my Sony A7II for stills, and the Osmo Pocket 3 for video has drastically increased the quality of my workflow, being able to separate the different qualities of the devices. The gimbal feature of this camera is super useful, being able to be used just like a regular gimbal. I've used it a few times now and I get lovely silky smooth video, even when walking. For the size, it's amazingly built and gives some crazy good quality shots! The small body of the device makes it able to be taken more or less everywhere, and is super easy to carry in your hand while using it! The battery is another great feature of this camera. Along with the battery included in the camera itself, the external battery can last for quite a long time of shooting. I've used it to film around an hour straight of 4k 60fps footage before the battery began to complain. Then again, who would do that regularly! You can also use it while fed by a USB power bank too, which adds to the usefulness of the device! Adding onto that, it charges crazy fast for what it is. I usually leave mine on charge with the external battery connected to the camera. This way, it charges the camera's internal battery first before the external battery begins to charge.

Still a great camera!
The new model is released, so not the latest and greatest. However, it’s still an excellent camera and is now excellent value for money. When I bought it here, it was cheaper than the special deal DJI themselves were offering. Very good low light performance. D-log video. Excellent form factor. The DJI mic 2 gives superb audio, especially if you use 32bit float. It does have limitations (eg it’s quite a wide view, vulnerable to wet conditions) but if yo stay within them it’s a great vlogging/pov camera. There’s a lot of YouTube content too, so you can get up to speed with it really quickly.

Well constructed product, sturdy nice design, great functionality. Recommended.
The DJI Pocket 3 is a small, lightweight vlogging/action camera that packs in great functionality but in a simple and straightforward manner. Naturally you can read up on the full spec but as a 65 year old Mr looking to venture into the social media world this product looks as if its going to tick all the right boxes. My highlights: Image quality: Although the screen is only 1ins x 2ins it is seriously impressive for such a small device. The displayed image is crisp, detailed, and the colours are bright & dynamic. Simple to Use: Once charged and ready to go the touchscreen directions/instructions is intuitive and easy to navigate. battery life appears to be good and stable. Stabilization: The built-in gimbal keeps everything incredibly smooth, even when you are walking, moving your body or if you have the slight shakes !. Portability: Extremely lightweight and portable. The handgrip is very comfortable and accommodating for those with a not so firm grip. Overall, the DJI Pocket 3 appears to be a great vlogging camera that delivers excellent image quality, stabilization, and portability. It's a great choice for those wishing to capture sounds and images and require a compact and powerful camera that they can take anywhere.

Good camera "but"
I road tested this camera in Sicily, took it up mount Etna, beaches, restaurants, churches. Night time footage was truly impressive. I tried a filter on bright days but didn't like the results, so actually realised with good settings adjustment you don't really need one. The camera had a habit of recording if I needed to put it in my pocket, as any touch would trigger the record button, this was really annoying as the camera would over heat and waist battery. The screen is pretty much useless in bright conditions as it's so small, you just have to guess that your pointing in the right direction. This camera does fine on automatic settings, especially if your vlogging and don't have time to adjust the settings each and every time. Microphone is very good and adequate for almost anything you'll encounter. Touch screen is very sensitive and ended up deleting footage by accident on a number of occasions, again very annoying. But apart from the issues mentioned above this is an amazing camera, you pretty much just need to press record and your up and running. One caution is that this camera is fragile, you can't be throwing it around, you kinda gotta treat it like a baby. If you can look after it, you'll be amazed at the results 😊

Best vlog camera
The DJI Pocket 3 is a tiny but mighty vlogging camera that packs a punch. It boasts a 1-inch sensor, which is a big upgrade from its predecessor, and this translates to significantly improved image quality, especially in low-light conditions. Here's a breakdown of what I like: * Image quality: Seriously impressive for such a small device. The footage is crisp, detailed, and the colors are vibrant. * Stabilization: The built-in gimbal keeps everything incredibly smooth, even when I'm walking or running. * Portability: It truly lives up to the "pocket" name. It's incredibly compact and lightweight, making it perfect for travel or everyday carry. * Ease of use: The touchscreen interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. However, there are a few things to consider: * Audio: While the built-in microphones are decent, serious videographers will likely want to invest in an external microphone for better sound quality. * Price: It's not the cheapest option on the market, but the features and performance generally justify the cost. Overall, the DJI Pocket 3 is a fantastic vlogging camera that delivers excellent image quality, stabilization, and portability. It's a great choice for content creators who need a compact and powerful camera that they can take anywhere.

The perfect video camera?
In a nutshell, yes. This is my favourite device for recording video. I also have a DJI Mini 3 Pro, Sony ILCE6300 APS-C Camera, iPhone 15 Pro Max. The drone is good, but there's no audio and there's regulations to consider. The interchangeable lens camera is fantastic for photos, but there's no OIS for the video meaning it's not even something I would use. My phone is good, but again the stabilisation just isn't there and certainly does not compare to beautifully wide, high quality shots from the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I primarily use this for YouTube videos while exploring destinations such as Singapore and Thailand. Capturing monkeys, elephants, beaches, jungle, exotic foods - all of it looking absolutely incredible on this camera. Bright colours, smooth panning, 4k videos that I can share with my friends and family easily. The creator combo is a no brainer - I always use extra battery, the tripod is small but has been stable on the occasions i've used it. I haven't even used the external mic but I do see a lot of content creators on YouTube using it. The bag fits everything in nicely and is what I use on my travels.

I love this thing.
For real. I love this camera so much. It has some strange behaviours. Hard to find out the way to update the firmawe - long story... but anyways. I love this thing. I had numerous cameras and stuff but this thing... I just love it so much... More than anything hahah. The best buy ever. So I checked out the camera as a webcam and in the field - just a tiny bit because I don't go out much but... If you use OBS then in the settings there you can set up the resolution / FPS of when it's connected as a webcam and then fiddle with the rest like ISO or shutter / wb balance on the camera itself. It works pretty well! My videos, my face with some lighting setup - I like it. Closer the camera to your face the better the result if you have a banana head like me haha! :) I checked all possible settings and worked out that if you want to do some pro videos - you need some pro software. Can't recommend one because ... didn't buy one. However I have Adobe Master Collection CS6 here and Premiere Pro CS6 doesn't like the idea of having HEVC compression in it. Maye the CC does but mine doesn't. The videos rercorded in H264 are enough for a daily user without needing to fiddle with the colours because the camera does it great itself. For blogging and quick video editing like cut/paste that's all you need. For pro - like I said - proper software needed equal to CC cloud or above from another dev. The gimbal head - it's cooking hot! But apparently they say it's ok... whatever then. It doesn't shut down when I play with it for an hour or so on max settings. That large battery seems to drain bit quick but whatever. Important! If you switch the camera off by just rotating the screen it goes into standby mode sucking the battery to zero. You need to press and hold recording button to switch it off and then the screen. Bit bizarre but whatever. Also don't forget to switch off the recording button long press to cancel the video - you will do it same as I did and then a long recording is gone forever! Also watch out for large attachment lenses - they won't let the camera fold up if you forget it and then you may damage the gimball or the camera itself if you force i by accient. Be careful.

Insane video quality in a tiny camera
This camera delivers extremely high-quality footage in a compact, portable design that makes it perfect for content creation on the go. The stabilization is impressive, keeping videos smooth even when walking or moving quickly, and the 4K quality looks sharp and professional. The built-in tracking features make it easy to film yourself without needing a second person, which is great for vlogging or social media content. The included mic also improves audio clarity significantly, making videos feel more polished overall. Overall, it’s a powerful all-in-one tool for serious content creators.
