Pretty solid
I ended up ordering two of these Mira Safety masks via Harpy Eagle during the Prime Day sale. I believe the deal was reasonable and you’re getting your money’s worth. Both masks arrived individually boxed and there was no damage from the delivery transit. I bought one for my wife and myself for a just in case. I conducted a face seal test and it worked properly. It’s a “one size fits all” and was originally concerned of the fit, especially because my wife has a small size face. Mine is generally a Medium when it comes to gas masks. I also had my wife do a seal test and a proper seal was established. Overall the mask is comfortable and didn’t make us feel like you’re wearing a dive mask. There was initially a weird “sweet” smell, but after letting it air out for a bit the smell dissipates. For the price point, the cost for this mask is reasonable and of good solid quality. It’s made in Italy and I couldn’t find any subpar material utilized. Yes, you can find other masks at half the price, but these are made in China masks and I’m always wary about the materials and possible chemicals they might utilize. Last thing you need is to have an overt allergic reaction from wearing the thing. If you’re not familiar with using full faced masks I recommend that you practice putting it on and taking it off. Overall it’s a pretty easy straight forward process to put it on and tightening the head harness. For those looking for a CBRN (NBC) gas masks, this isn’t it, but is rated for most industrial standards. I decided to forgo purchasing CBRN masks for a couple of reasons. One, if you buy the more expensive rated ones, you will need a CBRN rated protective clothing, in which you will need properly rated foot wear and gloves. By the the time you have purchased all the items you would have spent a grand $$$$ or more just for one complete CBRN set. I have purchased a four Mira Safety CBRN rated gas filters and four P-can filters. My reasoning for not going full blown doomsday commando is because, if a hostile country uses corrosive type persistent chemicals weapons or a nuclear weapon, you’re more than likely not going to survive. I have formal extensive CBRN training from my military days and there’s a lot more into surviving such attacks than just putting on the protective gear. Think about “decontamination procedures”… I won’t go into specifics, but it’s just not realistic for me to buy all the military grade gear and attempting to survive such an ordeal. Hopefully if it comes down to it, our enemies will not use deadly WMDs, but I do worry about biological weapons, which is why I bought these masks… Hoping is just a delayed reaction to disappointment, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Good luck and Stay safe!

Comfy and well made, be aware you need to buy the filters separately...
ICE didn't come to my town yet, so I didn't have to use it in combat, but up in the attic, it's great to see out of with just the dust filter attached. It doesn't come with the added filters, so be aware of that, but it's really comfy and you can see well and breath just fine, it sealed perfect, and mine didn't fog up like I saw others commented. Maybe they should stop smoking Meth in it, I did !!! It seems well made so I'll assume it'll last for a long time, or a short time as I fear a nuclear shower may be a bit on the radar in these times of great fear and war planning. Who knows, maybe I'll still have an attic to visit if I'm wrong, which will be great !!!!! (Yes, my comments are written with humor, but also with an honest star rating, so hopefully you enjoyed...lol)

Impressive Quality and comfort.
I live near a very active rail system, major highway,on top of a major fault line and in tornado alley (maybe that's why I got such a great deal on the house). It is not a question of "If" it is more of a question of "When" will I need this. With more and more dangerous materials going by rail this is a "must have". I have experience with military mask, and was a certified HAZMAT tech as a firefighter. I have given this mask the once over, the twice over and tried to nit-pick it and I just cannot find anything wrong with it. Other than it having the faint odor of caramel (why I have no idea, not a complaint, I personally love the smell of caramel) I do believe that if I can get to it, it will get me out of the hazard area safely. I purchased the MIRA Safety NBC-77 SOF filter to go with it, and that covers about 90% of what I may encounter in the event of an incident, and get me to a safe area far away from the incident. Once you decide on what filter you may need, get two. One to practice with, and one that is fresh when you need it. And DO practice with it, the more proficient you are with it, the more effective it will be.

A woman's perspective
As a woman, finding face masks that fit a small head is difficult since all advertised photos and reviews are of men, who have larger heads typically, so this was a gamble since you can't return this mask. The fit is mostly okay. For my fit reference, the length from top of my forehead (about 2" past my hairline) to bottom of my chin is approx 9.75" and from ear to ear (including over nose) is approx 11.25". Circumference of my head is 21.5". If you have a small face, you'll need to pull the straps tight and be mindful of the fit under your chin. It's difficult to wear with glasses (especially wide frame glasses), so if you have contacts I'd recommend wearing contacts for the snuggest fit. Overall not bad. It should do the job in case of emergencies, which hopefully never happens, but it's good to have just in case.
