Board lovely but groove not deep enough to hold juices when carving meat.
The board is as described. It is large, solid and lovely wood. I washed and oiled before using. It cleaned up nicely after used for carving a turkey. My only complaint is that the groove is not deep enough to hold juices from the meat. It is good quality and heavy enough to stay in place. It also works well as a serving piece. It arrived when promised in good condition— even though the shipping box was damaged. I would recommend.

Update: customer service eventually did get back to me- they must have been backed up. They sent me a whole new 4 piece set to replace my previous order, even though I just said I needed the biggest one replaced! The new boards were perfect; I really must have just gotten a bad batch. 5 stars for customer service and I’m very happy with my new boards now!Love that it was a non toxic glue free option for a cutting board. Unfortunately mine came with mold growing all over them and one of the big ones cracked. I tried reaching out to company via Amazon provided contact + their direct website contact a couple days ago but no answer. Disappointed to have to return, but mold is unacceptable. 2 stars because I do appreciate them trying to provide customers with a non toxic option for cutting boards!

Get this instead of plastic cutting boards!
Had a couple nicks on mine but they resolved the issue right away. Not sure how long this will last as some grains are starting to stray away, but it's so much better than the plastic cutting boards I was using before. Recommend getting this in the interim if you can't afford an end grain cutting board as it's affordable.
