I was under the impression there would be pegs on the animals to help further developed fine motor skills, there are no pegs on the board, just small wooden shaped animals

This traditional wooden puzzle is perfect for children of 18 months plus. As well as encouraging hand-eye coordination, concentration and manual dexterity, the puzzle gives the opportunity to talk about one of children's favourite places - the farm. There's a brightly painted background, with a farm track, a duck pond (complete with ducks), trees, bushes and fences, so you can talk about life on the farm. There are eight puzzle pieces - cow, horse, cat, sheep, pig, duck, chicken and dog. These are well shaped with plenty of detail and they stand in place on the board with plenty of room for little fingers to get hold of the edges of the pieces. The animals have cheerful smiley faces - perhaps yur little one can make up conversations for them?

This is a sturdy puzzle. Animals look like proper animals so the child can easily recognise what they are. There is a picture of each animal set in the picture to help the child look where to put the puzzle piece. The puzzle pieces are colourful and raised above the puzzle to enable a child to pick them out and put them in. My 16 month old granddaughter is able to recognise the animals and work out where they go, but not yet able to work out how to turn them so they fit in so it will last her a good while.

Me encanta, es como las fotos, de buena calidad y resistente (que con niños es crucial para que un juguete sea seguro), el precio quizá lo encontré algo elevado con respecto a otros similares en otras web pero mereció la pena el dinero invertido. Espero que os sea útil mi experiencia!
