Effective to protect clothes
These are effective to protect clothes from moths. I’ve put some in wardrobe and drawers. The smell is lavender and not unpleasant. Would recommend.

No "Old Man" Smell: The Discreet Way to Protect Cashmere
The Bottom Line: YES. If you are packing away your winter coats or protecting expensive knitwear, these are a "set and forget" essential. They solve the biggest problem with traditional moth balls: the horrific chemical stench. The Scent Profile Most moth killers make your wardrobe smell like a laboratory. These use a Lavender fragrance that is actually pleasant. It isn't an overpowering "perfume" smell; it’s a clean, herbal scent that lingers just enough to feel fresh without clinging to your clothes like a cheap air freshener. After five days in a closed wardrobe, that sharp "chemical" bite you usually get with these products is entirely absent. Design & Practicality The slimline design is a real plus. You can hang these between heavy coats without them creating a bulge or taking up valuable rail space. One of the best features is the "End of Life" indicator. Instead of having to guess if the unit is still working three months down the line, there is a clear visual prompt to let you know when the formula has evaporated and it's time for a replacement. The "Spring" Switch I’ve installed these as a preventative measure while switching my wardrobe over for the new season. In the UK, indoor moth activity starts to pick up as the weather warms, so it feels like the right time to get these in place. Who This Is For vs. Who Should Skip BUY THIS IF: You have wool, silk, or cashmere. The cost of one 4-pack is significantly less than replacing one ruined jumper. SKIP THIS IF: You have a massive walk-in wardrobe; you will likely need two packs to get the correct concentration required for a large open space. I've had these in for nearly a week now. While it's obviously too early to report on long-term results, the lack of chemical odor and the ease of the hanging system is an immediate win over the cheaper blocks I used last year.

They do the job and long lasting.
They do the job, but the hook is a bit flimsy.

Incomplete
I have always found this an effective and efficient system in the past, particularly due to the indicator which showed ‘end’ when unit needed replacing . Despite the product image appearing to have this feature, the items received did not; nor did this’ large value pack’ contain the ‘small calendar dials’ referred to on the directions . Unfortunately, when combined with the considerable delay in delivery times, a disappointing purchase .

Good fragrance
Liking this so far, acceptable fragrance. Will report back on if it is an effective agent to prevent clothes moth, not sure yet!

They have changed and NOT for the better!
I have used these for years, the ones that indicate their end of use in the purple backgrounded window. In my photo that is the one on the right. These must now have been replaced with the ones that you have to stick the plastic arrow into to indicate your start month, or expiry month. Anyway these are just awful as soon as you move your clothes on the rail and these move , the front and back fall apart, and even though you click them back together they continue to do the same. The only way to secure is by tape. When I ordered these I thought I was buying the ones with the purple end indicator., as those were shown in the pictures with the advertisement. They are not. I would not recommend or buy these again. Arcana need to go back to the model that worked. A really disappointing purchase.
