terrible quality
UPDATED: As I purchased 2 sets of the Swim Coach Communicator, the second one had absolutely the same story. It worked well during the first training but started hissing loudly after it. The water has got inside the central part of the device, and it is dead now. This product is not waterproof, don't waste your money! What a shame to Finis... Initial review: I decided to buy it because of its very low price and decent brand. After the first 20 minutes of use in the pool, it just stopped working and reacting to any buttons. Also, I heard some hiss out of them. At home, I saw that the water has leaked inside because it was getting out. It is definitely not waterproof! I tried to charge the device but even more water started getting out after it heated. The quality of sound is OK to deliver the advice of the coach, it lacks bass sound compared to typical headphones. It could have been a good product but the IP waterproof rating is just a lie in this case. What a disappointment from such a brand... If you buy it you will regret it after the first use.

A backyard convenience
I love this product for communicating with my kids while they're in the pool. I can work the grill and chat with my kids while they're splashing around. "Burgers are ready!"

Broken after 1st use
It worked perfectly the first time. Next day it was broken, presumably from water damage. I did some searching on the internet thereafter (should have done that up front…) and it appears that many users experienced the same issue. Summary: do NOT buy this product.

Works well most of the time
Works well, but malfunctions quite often. It won’t turn off/on sometimes (even when it’s fully charged). I need to connect it to a power source to reboot and then it works..

A must have for swim coaches.
Great product! A boon to coaches and athletes alike. Only blemish if I would find in the design is... the wires from the main unit to the ear pieces seem to be delicate and I have to be super careful with the device to not break the wires!
