Iron John: A Book about Men

Definitely recommended for anyone curious about the directions masculinity is taking. I love the use of myth and the gentle pace.

Robert bly became my one of great authors I like to read as many as books he wrote .so much deep understanding about man and masculinity. And way he wrote ,examples ,words he use everything is superbly written, my favourite part of wounds and deep love and compasion for father both side poison one other and redo the new house for fathers clean and simple one and the mentor and king also ready to honour your saul.

I thought that this novel was exceptionally informative for young men, but also for anyone interested in learning more about themselves and moving past their past traumas. Although many of Robert Bly's examples were metaphorical, they resonated with me. After going through a breakup, this was the perfect read, but it I recommend it for anyone who wants to learn something more profound about themselves.

A classic. Bought it for my nephew to help him deal with his over-bearing mother (my sister)

I bought it for my husband to read, without telling him and he is reading it. I'm expecting some good

Written by the grandfather of books on masculinity. Sad to have never met him and thanked him. RIP
