As fresh as if I had just purchased it off a store shelf locally. Exactly the way I remember it in texture and taste! I will certainly buy this brand of Chic-O-Stick again and would recommend it to others - an excellent value also. I bought the 2 pound quantity which was an excellent value for excellent quality. The 2 pound quantity came in two separate 1 pound bags, which was very convenient. I took one for my workplace desk to have a snack, and I kept one at home for snacking at home.

These candies were great. Tasted like I remember from getting as a treat as a kid. No issues with packaging or shipment. Seemed fresh and peanut butter crunchy taste and texture were delicious.
