I had to buy a glue gun with the long nozzle, and re cut the carpet square, but it has worked nicely. cheaper than the rug company's binding cost. and I have a lot extra. Took about 3 hours total. for a 4x6 remnant

Easy to use! Bought carpet remnants from our hardware store and applied the binders for a fraction of the cost of buying already binded rugs.

Could be a little thicker but overall, a good solution and product.

This is relatively easy to install. There are clear instructions with illustrations. I am happy with the finished product.

It works fairly well but the stickiness is lacking.

Not the best adhesive backing but hot glue does the trick. It won't pull off & as long as you glue the base of the yarn at the carpet backing on berber, it won't pull a run in the carpet. Pretty happy that I didn't have to spend $1000 for binding on a 9'10" x 19', plus 2 2 x 3 throw rugs in doorways. Pleased as a pig! Made the mistake of Not cutting carpet at 1st full row on the edge but I'm cool with that for a throw rug. Use a 4 x 4 block at least 12" long to hold the binding while the hot glue solidifies. Use Surebonder 1 minute hot glue so it goes faster. Get your mindframe straight that it won't just be a stick & go project. It can be tedious. Watch the video & play some music. I also didn't use a fine tip on my hot glue gun. I already had a surebonder dual temp glue gun. The tip was ideal.

I used this to convert an existing fitted stair carpet into a stair runner. Although easy to use, the process did take quite some time to complete due to the length of the carpet and the need to hot glue between the edge of the carpet and the binding; I found it easiest to use a hot glue gun with a long nozzle to get into the gap and complete 6" at a time. As I was applying the binding to a carpet that had been laid for a couple of years some of the pile had naturally flattened so it was not always easy to achieve a really neat edge with the binding - would certainly work much better with new/unused carpet. Overall I think it is a good product, good value and I'm happy with the finished result. Delivery was also a lot quicker than expected.

Just 6 bucks more than buying right from the manufacturer so price is fair. Easy Easy Easy install. Just need a good glue gun and have to buy the long tip to get a clean job. Not a better product t\for DYI' ers. Simple to do. UPDATE: Got the long tips for glue gun. Simple simple simple installation and looks as good as factory. Take your time with the hot glue with 12" sections at a time and make sure the gun is very hot. This was a breeze. Watch the product video it makes things easy.

Product allowed me to cut large rug into two pieces and saved on costs by not employing a professional.
