Would a neewer ring light head attach onto this?

I am not sure what fitting the ring light has but the light stand has the standard spigot with threaded stud. Even if it doesn't fit directly, i am sure there will be some sort of adaptor available cheaply.

I don't think so. There is a single 1/4" screw on the top so you need to find a way of mounting two items on it.

I would say not. These tripods are for studio lights rather than putting a dslr on....they lack the ability to pick up and go that a camera tripod has. I would used a more robust tripod designed for a dslr

How wide are the poles? I need something atleast 20mm wide

The bottom half of the poles is 23mm, the top half is 17mm and the bright bit at the top is 16mm diameter.
