Low quality
The worst I've tried, seems very sugary, thin taste, wouldn't recommend at all. Even thinner other italian balsamics are nicer. Tried twice, never again.

Best balsamic vinegar I've tried to date - Issue with new bottle cap though
UPDATE: 16/04/26 Just opened a new bottle today and although the same taste, the new stopper they are using for the bottle does not work correctly. The pourer comes off with the black cap, the previous ones worked perfectly so not sure why they changed but I contacted them and they said that they were aware of a manufacturing problem with these so hopefully in future these fit correctly. Ok so apart from the above issue with the bottle, the below is in regards to the taste which is great! Worth every penny, most cheaper balsamic vinegar is quite thin and acidic whereas this is thicker and not so acidic. Drizzle this over tomatoes and is a game changer! I use this now as a salad dressing as you only need to drizzle a tiny amount and bottle I bought a few months back and used often still looks part full so. lasts for ages. It really is worth paying that little extra to get an amazing taste, I wont get the cheaper ones now that I know how much this changes the taste of what your eating with it on, maybe its just the make I'm not sure but I will be sticking with this going forward. Vinegar quality: 10/10 Thickness: It is a lot thicker than most vinegars but once its on food it thins out

Highly recommend investing in this decent balsamic vinegar
This balsamic is little bit on pricey side, but definitely worth the money. It is a thicker consistency and coats the salad leaves rather running around the plate. The flavour is sweeter than most balsamic vinegars, which only adds to the appeal. Also nice mixed with oil and served with fresh bread to dip

Dark, thick and sweet: a good buy
We have always bought basic balsamic vinegar from the supermarket for dressings and more recently, my favourite lunch has included avocado and balsamic vinegar. I bought a bottle of our usual brand from Tesco but when I used it, it nearly melted my eyeballs. The vinegar taste was extremely strong and alcoholic, it was watery and had none of the light earthy sweetness I have expected. Outraged at the assault on my tastebuds I decided I would get some proper balsamic vinegar and ignore the cost. The Odysea was just over twice the cost of the supermarket brand but when I opened the stoppered bottle and poured it out I could instantly tell it was value for money. The Odysea balsamic vinegar is aged for 10 years, dark, viscous and, what tastes to me, sweet with figgy overtones complementing the smooth vinegar flavours: definitely not eyeball melting. This balsmic vinegar would be excellent mixed with olive oil for dressing or dipping ciabatta or french bread.
