First, they fit right and feel good right out of the box. While I'm sure your return policy is great and all that, I don't buy online expecting to return. Second, my hikers don't have to be the trendy choice of mountain climbers and ironmen. They appear to sturdy, not too heavy but still supportive - good for my couple dozen good hikes this year. Finally, in a concession to all the fancy shoes out there, Rockport has used this two tone, grey and black scheme for these shoes. It kinda reminds me of bowling shoes - which is AWESOME!

I now own 10 pairs of these shoes . You may ask why , well they are a great value . They have great support , water proof or close to it . They are a great all around shoe . You can walk with traction , comfort and durability . I wear them almost everywhere .

I’ve been wearing these shoes for over 2 years!! Pros: They are very lightweight and if you work on your feet 8-plus hours a day these shoes won’t get you tires. Shoes last a long time even if your wear them in the day my basis. They are easy to clean and they look really are nice looking shoes over all. Cons: These shoes can get wet but water will get in eventually. If you don’t dry them, the. You will get stinky shoes in a few days. Another problem I’ve found while wearing these shoes is the fact that they are not slippery resistant especially in wet tile. Overall all I’m happy with these shoes and I like that Amazon drops the price significantly once in while and as a result I buy a few pairs.

I have had 2 pairs of Rockports for years and have been excellent in durability and water resistance so we decided to go for this model when it was on special. Just recently after I would say less than 100 days of use I had to throw them away since they were falling apart due to the cheap materials used on the top, although the sole was barely worn and look almost new. Note that I never hiked or did sports with this shoes, just used them for casual dress normal everyday activities. The leather-like material on the sides at the front cracked and started peeling off with about 30 days of use, then the glue that joined the sole with the top part of the shoe started to fail after about 80 days of use causing it to start separating at the front of the shoes. Finally, I believe they advertised some sort of water resistance but once I walked from my car to home after a storm and stepped in a couple of puddles, when I took them of noticed my feet were wet since the water entered the shoes form several points Really disappointed with this model and not sure I will try Rockport again Do not recommend at all

I am very happy with these shoes. Lightweight and comfortable, look good and fit well. I was having a hard time finding my size in local stores so I’m glad I found the shoes online. We shall see how they hold up over time but I’m extremely pleased with the purchase.

Update (1/25/2023): The day I wrote my original review below, about two weeks ago, I also emailed pictures of my shoes to Rockport (consumercare at Rockport dot com) to let them know about the quality issue. A customer care representative replied today with an offer to send me a replacement pair. They did ask that I also send a picture of the inside tag on the tongue of the shoe which will let them know the manufacturing location and date. I appreciate that Rockport responded quickly and is willing to replace them. Original Review (1/9/2023): The shoes look good and fit well. However, it didn’t take long for the soles to separate from the upper material, even though I don’t wear them that often. I now see that other reviewers report the same issue. Given the issue with the sole, these are clearly not waterproof. I recommend you look elsewhere.

As for size I'm between a 10 1/2 or 11 US depending on the manufacturer. These fit closer to a 10 1/2 for me so true to size. These were lighter than I had expected. I'm pleasently surprised. I have had them for a couple weeks and will use primarily for work. I'm on my feet quite a bit and my feet aren't work out after a long day. They have solid support and again are light so this is a huge bonus. Traction seems excellent in wet conditions. Overall I'd highly recommend. We will see with daily wear how long they last. I'm pretty hard on my shoes so I'll update after a few months.

Been wearing them for about a month. Appear to be good quality and look great. A little slick on wet, smooth surfaces, but I expect that will improve as the soles wear.

The quality of sewing was good and it was comfortable.

Great hiker, love wearing Rockport brand. Light shoe to wear anywhere and great quality.
