Parfaite introduction a Chrome OS
Permet de se faire une bonne idée des Chromebook et de leur logiciel. Bonne présentation de le notion de travail "dans les nuages" c'est à dire sur des serveurs et principalement celui de Google, Google Drive. Simple et clair.

I'm very pleased with my Chromebook but because there are differences with Microsoft Windows I felt I needed a book to get the best out of it. This book is well written and the information is clearly and nicely presented. I have referred to it and found it useful but I have also found the Chromebook to be quite intuitive anyway. I have also found answers to some questions on the internet but browsing through this book also explains things that I hadn't thought of so I'm glad that I bought it and would recommend it.

Think tablet with keyboard.
When your use to a PC it takes a bit to get use to. Bought it so my grandchildren can do homework with no excuses.

Great to start my senior dad with his Chromebook
I bought an Acer R13 for my dad who is 65. He has some off and on Windows experience but isn't super interested in new tech. He's only had to use tech toward the end of his career. He's very smart but very oldschool. Bottom line, this book was a great investment, for him and later for me. I thought the Chromebook would collect dust but he uses it every day for utilitarian things like recipes and email. He read the book cover to cover and consults it periodically. I'm more of a mac guy so it was an interesting read for me too. As previous reviewers stated, folks who are tech savvy won't need this, but for an older dude who's computer skills are fairly rudimentary, this book has really helped

Excellent and very useful purchase
Excellent purchase. Very informative. In fact essential as the Chromebook only comes with minimal instructions, apart from online material. This book cuts to the chase systematically and is attractively designed. What it doesn't contain may be accessed online or by contacting Google Chromebook phone/email helpline, which is lo call. Support staff very very helpful.
