A great tool to improve A1 printing quality, especially with long term PETG prints.
Works as intended, I am running PETG CF and have not had any issue with heat creep despite operating in an enclosed environment with a higher heated temperature. The fan seems to kick on as per the thermistor telling it to do so, so its not just always running when not needed. This is one of those products I am grateful to have to avoid future headaches overall.

Stopped extruder motor heat creep for my Bambu A1 inside an enclosure
Installing this thing resolved the extruder motor heat creep I was experiencing with my Bambu Labs A1 inside an enclosure.I primarily use ASA for my prints, and to prevent warping I have it sitting inside an enclosure. For short prints it works fine. However, longer projects would often result in the extrusion stopping from what's known as heat creep, causing the print to fail. Heat creep is when the extruder motor starts soaking up heat from its surrounding (e.g. - heat from the hot end making its way up to the gears), on top of the heat the motor itself produces. Normally this isn't an issue since the A1 is designed with open air printing, with the extruder motor being passively cooled. Inside an enclosure, where all the heat from the hot end, print bed, heater, electronics, etc. are trapped, this becomes a significant issue, as the gears get hot enough to soften the filament, resulting in failed extrusion.Installation was fairly simple. It took me about 5 minutes from start to finish. It's definitely a worthwhile investment if you want to push the A1 to the limit of what it can do.

Plug and play
Works quite well, plug and play. Auto detects with the temp sensor and kicks the fan on.
