Celestron 114EQ Powerseeker Telescope

The product is just great this review is for celestron powerseeker 114EQ telescope... The telescope is great... Even though... Iam not good at pinpointing stars... Planets... I managed to look at saturn.... Jupiter.... Literally.... Iwas able to see rings of saturn.... From past 2 to 3 weeks i just looked at moon...... Many times..... And i saw saturn once...(i was lucky bcuz tht day saturn was close to moon) and jupiter also once.... I dont kniw if there was a problem.. But jupiter was not that clear... It was... Clear but not tht much..... I still dont know.... Can we observe deep sky with this telescope or not.... Cuz i dont know how to precisely use. It..... I am beginner and this is my first telescope. I m waiting a big and clear dark night where the sky will be full of stars and i will enjoy it.

As soon as I opened the package box, I was amazed by the excellent packing of such a fragile product. The overall quality of the telescope tube and the mount was superb. The mount was sturdy and the tripod was decent. The telescope was a little tricky to assemble at first but it got easier when I got familiar with its parts. The optics were top-notch. The eyepieces provided were very great and did not have any distortion. The accessories provided were of good quality. The optical tube was very sturdy. The only drawback was the finder scope. It was not easy to align but I somehow managed it. That said the telescope is very good in every other way. If you are looking for a beginner telescope on a budget look no further!!

You are better off staying away from this product. Its a pain putting it together. The image quality is really poor, you can not view anything and it is not portable at all. The tripod is so wobbly, you are always scared the telescope will fall.

It is okay to see planets but most difficult thing is to control it. I bought it from here for 15xxx, but due to tripod, and also my wish to move to 5 or 6se, I am willing to sell it. Even for 10k will be ok for me.

I bought it for myself i am 13 yrs old and wanted to see planets,I found this and found it perfect so I bought it it is sturdy and good focal length and nice focusing once mount and tripod and tube on time delivery nice packaging no breaking of part.first night saw moon and was amazed seemed like we were astronaut and seeing moon from space next night saw Jupiter,Saturn I was .....shoc.....led Jupiter was extremely clear and big its moon and Saturn was unbelievable it comes with everything u need so no more expenses and it is decent enough to see all messier items from dark skies.after a week finally found out whirlpool galaxy woooooowwww we can clearly see the arms.So it's not shaky really I am saying really and its decent so have good time with it and worth buying.C.L.E.A R S.K.I.E.S.

I would have given 5 stars for the telescope as it delivered very crisp images of moon, Jupiter, Saturn ,Venus. But amazon was very late in delivery . I received the scope only after 11days. Many say that the tripod is wobbly, but it is not so. It remained sturdy even when strong winds were blowing for almost an hour. As a beginner ,I' am pretty much satisfied with it. The 4mm eyepiece worked well on Saturn . I clearly saw its rings even with a 20mm eyepiece. The mount is good, but if you are a beginner, I would recommend to go through a few tutorials to use it well. overall it's a good scope.

Very complicated to assemble.material is not so good.

ce télescope est parfait pour un débutant. il est gros par rapport à ce qu'on peut constater dans l'image. il est basé sur un système de miroirs internes. très utile pour observer la lune et les planètes pendant la nuit.

We are novices and bought this as a starter kit but are amazed at the quality. Super viewing of the moon and planets, easy enough to assemble and use. Finder scope is a bit tricky to align but once you have it set up it is easy to locate your object. Fast delivery and well packaged.

Da ich Einsteiger im bereich Astronomie bin habe ich mich für dises Teleskop entschieden, da ich den Preis angemessen fand. Die Liferung war schnell und das Teleskop war super verpackt. Das Ganze ist schnell aufgebaut und sofort einsatzbereit. Die Montierung ist stabiel und funktioniert meiner meinung nach nicht so schlecht, außerdem ist die Systematik mit der Anleitung Schnell verstanden die App hilft bei der Einstellung und Ausrichtung. Zum Thema Suchfernrohr, das Ding ist nicht so umwerfend... Die Montage ist wackelig und verutscht ständig, außerdem kann man keinerlei einstellungen vornehmen. Die beigelegten Okulare sind OK, aber ich werde sie demnächst gegen bessere Modelle austauschen.

This was purchased as a present for someone so won't be using it myself. I was pleased with the speed of delivery and the packaging. This was a good price, the best the recipient could find on the net so overall they were delighted

Un producto que tiene muy buena pinta por su precio. Todavía no hemos visto gran cosa (no hay luna estos días y estamos iniciándonos en la astronomía). Seguimos formándonos con tutoriales y libros. He encontrado un poco confusas las instrucciones. A pesar que venían en el resumen en castellano (y que no me funciona el lector de CDs...) las traducciones y detalles con un poco confusas, aunque con un poco de paciencia y algunos videos de la red es todo bastante fácil
