This illustrated book tells the story of the hit animated feature film Spirited Away. Mom, Dad, and their daughter Chihiro are driving to their new home when Dad takes a wrong turn and they get lost in a forest, eventually finding themselves in a strange abandoned amusement park. While Chihiro wanders away, her parents turn into pigs and she must make her way alone in a world inhabited by ghosts, demons, and strange gods. The film version·will be released in U.S. theaters by Disney in September 2002. Excellent book
Good quality pages and the art from Studio Ghibli is as fantastic as ever, especially considering Spirited Away is one of their crown jewels. The 7-year-old recipient was immediately hooked and didn't seem to mind the 165-page experience in one go.

Captivating even for toddlers
It's suitable even for a 2 year old. Even though a small child might not understand the true meaning of a growing up story intended for 10 year olds, the story is so captivating and the illustrations are perfect. My kid gets fully concentrated and mesmerized by this book.

Mi aspettavo di più. Sono solo frame del film con frasi di narrazione - non del tutto fedeli al film a volte- nulla più. Va bene da leggere alla bimba prima della nanna....non va bene per chi pensa sia un libro di qualche pregio...vabbe..
