Smart Scale for Body Weight and Fat, Digital Bathroom Scale

This scale is awesome! You don’t need to spend up to $500 on one! This one has over 50 analytical details in a report it gives you. I was really impressed with the initial setup process. It took me about 10 minutes to unbox it, download the app, set up my profile and sync my phone to the scale via Bluetooth. The app has a great user experience. It’s easy to navigate and the reports are given in a way that makes the information easy to understand. I also love that you can sync to Apple health and keep your historical data if you are switching from a different smart scale. Additionally, it was super quick and easy to add other users so others in the household can have their own profiles! Be sure to read the instructions for initial use. You will want to first ensure it’s calibrated correctly (that it is set to 0.00 lbs when nothing is on it). Luckily, the app identifies if there’s an issue with calibration and prompts you to recalibrate if there is! You will also want to ensure you are standing on it properly and holding the handle properly. In regard to size and appearance, I would say it’s comparable to other scales - nothing out of the normal, aside from having the handle with electrodes that you will use when weighing). It is beautiful though!

I absolutely love this smart scale! The quality is excellent, and if you’re working on losing weight or improving your overall body composition, being able to see how you’re trending over time is incredibly helpful. The arboleaf app tracks your measurements and lets you view your progress by week, month, and year. I love being able to look back and see the changes instead of focusing only on what the scale says on any particular day. One of the biggest reasons I chose the 8-electrode scale with the handle was its versatility and the amount of information it provides. As I’m losing weight, I especially want to keep an eye on my body fat and muscle measurements. My goal isn’t simply to see my weight go down—I want to make sure I’m losing fat while maintaining as much muscle as possible. The display is another feature I really like. It shows 7 key measurements right on the scale, so I can get a quick snapshot without always opening the app. When I want more detail, the app gives me access to 50+ metrics and my complete trend history. The button responsiveness and overall operation have been great, and the scale feels like it’s made from good-quality material. The handle stores neatly with the scale, and I also appreciate its portability if I need to move it or put it away. I really enjoy seeing the graphs change as I make progress. It keeps me motivated and gives me a much better picture of what’s happening with my body than weight alone. Excellent quality, informative display, easy-to-use app, and so many useful measurements. UPDATE: The company got in touch with me and sent a new scale immediately. This one turns on, on touch, and seems to be reading consistently. Thanks so much for the hasty resolve! For all the positives i found with this scale, plus the fact that it seems accurate now, I would highly recommend. Seems I just had a faulty model. Cliff notes: Great mobile app and nice looking scale, but it gets 2 stars because it's wildly inaccurate at measuring weight (which is of course the most important feature of a scale) and is really hard to turn on (lightly tapping does not work). I've tried other smart scales, so know how one of these should behave. Here I'll go into more details. First the good: 1) The mobile app is great, and it provides a plethora of longitudinal information, more than my previous scale and it's great that it automatically syncs to the arboleaf app and IOS health app. It can also tell when someone who weighs significantly different than me isn't me, so their data doesn't get stored on my profile 2) It's an attractive scale Reason for 2 stars: 1) It's wildly inaccurate. This has been an issue since day 1, but i never got around to contacting them about this and am probably too late at this point. I currently weigh 200 lbs. Today, for example, the scale first told me I weighed 185, then I tried again and it said 191. Then I tried a third time and it said 181. I waited a few hours later for good measure and it finally said 199 (which I assume is correct). It's so inconsistent, I never know what I'm going to get. Sometimes I can't even get it to zero out before I step on the scale. For context, I'm using it on a hardwood floor. 2) It says "tap" to turn on, then wait for it to zero out, then step on the scale...but I've never once been able to just "tap" the scale to turn it on. There isn't a sweet spot either. I have to press my foot somewhat hard and put my weight into it several times for it to turn on. 3) When you weigh yourself, all it shows on the scale is your weight. It would be nice if it showed your body makeup as well (fat %, water %, etc.) on screen like many other smart scales do, but you have to log into the mobile app to see these details. Summary: I'd probably look elsewhere if I were you. I've tried taking out the batteries and putting them back in, but nothing seems to fix it. Maybe I got a faulty one, but if not, this scale should be a pass for future buyers.

Exactly what I was looking for. Love the blue tooth that syncs to the app on my phone. Battery life is great. It has options for kilos or pounds. Can store many users. Measures weight as well as body analysis.

This is a cool scale that shows a lot of interesting data about your body composition, not just your weight. I think some of the numbers are calculated based on basic information but when I compare the BMI numbers to what I got from my doctor I found them to be very accurate. It’s been interesting to watch and see things as they change while I pursue my health goals. The feature to allow multiple users on the app was easy to set-up and use. The scale will work with more than one phone also, just be sure that the one you want to record the data is the only one turned on with the app open, otherwise you could send the data to the wrong device. My only complaint, and it may not even be technologically possible, is that I must have my phone on with the app open in order for the scale to connect. It would be great if it could connect even while the phone is closed. Yes, I know, first world problems, but it would simplify things. Overall, I’ve been really happy with this scale. Update 11/1/2020 My husband wrote the original review. After both of us using it for 11 months, this is what we’ve found: it works great as a scale. The weight readings are both accurate and repeatable. Multiple people can use it, and it will track your weight over time. It’s great to be able to look back and see trends. As for all the other numbers, I’m not sure where they come from. If you absolutely HAD to have an accurate BMI or body composition, I don’t know that I’d trust it. But it’s a great scale.

It just came in so this is from like 20 minutes of sitting down and downloading the app and everything, if it breaks or malfunctions I’ll come back and edit it! First impressions: The look of it is smooth and durable! It looks very well made, and it’s like a thicker glass rather than plastic. Also, it came with batteries, so you won’t have to worry about buying those AAAs! The scale itself: The accuracy is great. I stepped on it 4 separate times and every time I got the same measurement, not .1 off or anything, SAME one every time. The numbers are bright and easy to read, and it blinks when it locks in your weight. The app: The app is craaaazy, it knows more about me than I know about myself. Did I ever know what my bone mass was before today? Not at all, but now I know! Overall conclusion: As someone who wants to get into working out, this is for sure the device that’ll give me the best response as to where the extra weight is going and what I’m losing. I didn’t want to use a normal scale because it just gives you a number with no explanation, but this one gives you the full list of what is where, which I appreciate. Also it’ll give you a time graph of your weight so you can track where you lose weight or where you gained a little during your path to weight loss. I’m not necessarily looking to lose weight, but it’ll be great to see me gaining weight and knowing it’s going towards my muscle mass, because my app will tell me! Overall I’m very impressed, and would for sure recommend this to you, to your friend, and to your cousin.

I bought three units, this is the best. This scale has a great read out, it tells you all the measurements that you need. The cost is a little higher but well worth the cost. The scale looks great and easy to use.

I bought both the Arboleaf and the Renpho scales to compare. They basically come up with the exact same weight and details. The Renpho is $30 less than these scales but are not as visually appealing as the Arboleaf. I believe both scales are pretty accurate when it comes to weight however, the other measurements are subject to the information you put in about yourself. If you use sports mode then it says I am the same age I entered no matter what age I put in when I make a profile, If I leave it in normal mode it says I am two years younger at any age I try it at. The sports mode puts my measurements much less than the none sports mode which means this technology is giving details according to rules of how its been programed to and not on the actual reading of the person's body. This is exactly the same outcome for the Renpho. I would say that no scale out there has the ability to accurately read a person's inner fat, water etc and we are probably away from it. Put aside these are both great scales for weight and for me the Arboleaf looks better in my bathroom.
