extremely impressed with this product ive been scanning for a number of years .....build quality is excellent the ground plane screws in rely nice altho i would recommend copper grease bethore you install outside to weather proof if you intend in taking it off again i can verify this pulls signals in from a good distance on civil aviation frequencies the Arial come extremely well packaged took ages to get into it comes with all fixing bolts honestly you cannot go wrong company was honest package come in dhl arrived on time im that impressed im ordering another to use with my two bt15x ,s grate product and a breath of fresh air dealing with amazon ten outta ten finally an Ariel that does what its claimed and a company that supports its customers well done could not ask for more currently placed in window double glazed not effecting signal receive at all

I chose this product down to a friend recommending it. When it arrived, I unpacked the antenna and pulled it out of the bag, base to me. It immediately fell apart, plastic antenna tube got separated from the base and I ended up with the aluminium base and long copper wire (the real antenna part) in my hand and the tube still in the package. This basically is no great problem, assembling the whole unit is easy and a spot of silicon connecting base to tube was not a big investment. It is more a question of " shouldn't happen", since the original glue used seemed to have dried out. Cheap antenna, cheaply manufactured but otherwise works as described.

Very pleased with the performance of this antenna. Only 4-Stars due to the quality of the mounting bracket and clamping arrangement which is made of quite thin metal. Not sure how this will fair over winter. I bolted one end of the bracket to the back of another clamp to make a more sturdy fit. A good product let down by the flimsy mount.

Im zwei Meter Band (144…146 MHz) ziemlich empfangsschwach. Was mit der Gummiwurst am Yaesu VX-6 mit S8 reinkommt, bringt diese Antenne mit S4. Im 70cm-Bereich (~438 MHz) völlig taub: Kein Empfang. Für welchen Frequenzbereich zwischen den genannten 25-2000 MHz soll das Ding gut sein, wenn nicht mindestens auf den Afu-Frequenzen?
