SANDISK Mobile Mate microSD Card Reader/Writer, USB 3.0

Solid little card readers which work flawlessly, and confirmed as maxxing out own brand UHS-I card speeds on desktop machines. Performance on raspberry pi is also not too shabby at 94MBps read, and sky high random IOPS. Highly recommended.

I've had so many SDCard adapters that are flakey, but this just works, consistently.

Does the job, easy and quick connection

My PC only sees it half the time. I have to insert it first, then insert the micro sd a few times until it shows up as an external drive. It works after all that, but it's a bit annoying. However, it's very small and cheap, so there are some concessions to be made.

Loving this tiny little USB 3 SanDisk Micro SD card reader. Built well & seems as tough as can be expected while remaining so small. I have no clue regards a good few negative reviews that have been left for this item... I'm thinking that the negative reviews users should have bought a far bigger Reader as moaning about its size as a bad point defeats the purpose of the item as it's obviously supposed to be small which surprise surprise it is. Other negative feedback comments claimed cards were hard to get back out once inserted & again it's size related as in of course it's going to be figity & a little effort is required to get a tiny micro sd back out once inserted into this tiny low profile reader. The thing does exactly what it's designed to do & that's read / write to Micro SD cards at full USB 3 speeds. It's exactly what I wanted as I am using it in my Car's USB HiF input loaded up with Flac files & needed something very small & low profile that I could plug in, use & basically forget about it knowing it won't get in the way by being big & sticking out etc... It reads & writes as quickly as full sized SD card USB 3 readers do but since it is so small if you're needing a reader for heavy use then I suggest you buy a larger sized 1. Summing up = Great Little USB 3 Micro SD Card reader & Ideal for users requiring something with a Low profile or / & require it for a tight space ;) Highly Recommended :)

The reader is very neat and protects the card i.e. it doesn’t stick out. I had no problem inserting and removing a variety of different brands of Micro-SD cards - no tools required. My Windows 7 PC recognised the card reader and installed any drivers. The PC informed me that it could work faster if I put it in a USB3 socket. I did this and was impressed with the performance. I tested a 256GB card and the reported speeds were 76MB/s write and 86MB/s read. I wanted this to be a source of media for a Plex installation on a Raspberry Pi. It was therefore important that it was tiny and that the card was protected and not sticking out of the side or rear. It perfectly fulfills these requirements. Delivery, as it often is, was incredibly fast from Amazon.

I bought this to allow easier transfer of images from my bridge camera to my PC. This is so small it fits nicely into the BLUE USB socket and I leave it in (so small I might lose it otherwise!). It transfers a few small, test video files over in less then 2 seconds with actually suprised me. NOTE: This is a USB3.0 device.. to get the speeds you MUST plug it into a USB3.0 socket which it BLUE inside, matching the device. The micro SD card was a little fiddly to remove at first though it seems to be easing up with use. If you have large fingers and no finger nails to grip the tiny edge of the card with, you may struggle to pull the card out. That aside, its all good (so far) :)

I bought this for viewing the SD card of a new DJI mini 3 Pro drone, the card fits perfectly, no issues with inserting it (you can only insert the card one side only so never worry about slotting it in the wrong way) Great little USB, perfect for what I needed. I've had no issues with it, but I will note it gets quite warm after a few minutes of transferring drone footage from the card. It arrived in a nice little box, secure and damage free (always a plus). Handy little device.

Reçus rapidement et dans un emballage excellent , je travail dans l'informatique et j'ai choisis cette petite clé discret , qui me permet de lire les micros SD facilement sur ma tour, aucun problème de reconnaissance sur Windows 11 24H2 , très rapide , tous dépend aussi la carte SD sa qualité , mais produit très bon .

This microSD card reader does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It's compact, easy to carry, and worked right away when I plugged it into my computer. I used it to transfer photos and videos from a microSD card, and the transfer speeds were quick with no issues. I also like how small it is because it doesn't take up much space in a laptop bag or camera case. The card fits securely, and I've had no problems with connectivity or reading files.
