I bought a pair of the 300w hyperlites to add a bit more light to my “wood shop” corner of my shop. I have 8 UFO’s inside the shop, several narrow strip lights on the wall, 5 UFO’s under my lean-to as well as wall packs on the exterior. All my lights except the wall strips are hyperlite. These new lights were easy to wire up. They do include the dimmer wiring if you want to run the extra wire. These have a neat way of leveling the lights side to side as well as front to back. Play with adjustments on the workbench to get familiar with the stainless cable system adjustment. The little allen screw can be backed off to adjust the width level. Then there is a cap at the top of cylinder where allen adjustment is at. You can pull the cable down to lift the light after you hang it. It’s like a Chinese finger trap, and won’t let you pull cable the opposite direction without loosening it. These lights were very bright and added just the extra light I desired. This light is thin and light weight. It’s very hard to beat hyperlite products as well as their customer service. Great job on the new light hyperlite.

This light is extremely bright, well-built, and comes with everything needed to hang. Super easy to install, with dimmer functionality. Very thin and lightweight. Very bright but not overbearing like most powerful lights. Hang it high, and it will not disappoint.

Bought 4, 2 died in 2 days. Installation cost more than the lights. Total waste of money and time. Stay away.

Nice and bright! Easy to hang and wire up. I already have the Hyperlight Hex lights and High Bay pendants in my garage,but my Woodwork area in another building needed good lighting over the router table. I’ll be getting a couple more soon to outfit the rest of the shop!

Installed these in a high ceiling garage and the difference is night and day. They put out a ton of light and cover a wide area without dark spots. The 5000K color gives that clean, bright look that makes it easier to see everything clearly. Install was straightforward and the hanging setup worked well even solo. Build quality is excellent and they run without flickering. Great option if you need strong lighting for a garage, shop, or workspace for a great price.
