Product description FORSENSAL Temperature Data Logger USB Disposable Data Logger Specification Review: Temperature Data Logger - This data logger was super easy to use and comes with everything you need. There is a little foam sticker included that allows you to stick it to a wall or other surface so it doesn't get lost. The data logger tracks data for a long period of time and gives ample information for you to evaluate. The report it generates includes LOTS of data points...I took a video of the file to include in this review so you can see how much information is included. I definitely recommend these temperature data loggers to others. Easy to use, easy to get the data, good value. Review: Inexpensive way to monitor freezer temp - Got this to monitor my freezer temperature during expected power outages this winter. The good news is that we survived two heavy snowfalls without even a short outage so I didn’t get to try it in its’ intended use. However I did want to test it both for the purpose of this review and to satisfy my own curiosity. I turned it on and put it in the freezer last week and checked it today. It worked exactly as advertised. The initial (room) temperature reading was within a degree F of my digital thermostat and the freezer temperature during the 7 days was within a few degrees of a dial thermometer. We could even see a 6 or 7 degree rise the couple of times the freezer was opened. The download via USB to the computer was simple and automatic. It’s too bad the device can’t be reset and reused, but at the price it’s inexpensive enough to justify ordering another one to keep on hand in anticipation of the coming hurricane season. It works well and is a small price to pay to monitor the safety of our food.

Reliable temp logger, simple to use
This USB temperature data logger is surprisingly straightforward. Plug it in, let it run, then connect it to a computer and it generates a report. That’s exactly what you want for cold chain or storage monitoring. The IP67 rating is a nice bonus since it means it can handle moisture or rough environments. The data capacity is also more than enough for typical use cases. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the interface and instructions feel a bit basic. But once you figure it out, it works well.

Lost all Data
Ran an important test... after... plugged into 3 different computers and could NOT download the data. You get what you pay for. Moving on....

Economical and accurate way to record temperature data
This review is for, "Temperature Data Logger USB Single Use Data Logger, 129600 Points PDF Reports, High Accuracy IP67 Waterproof Alarm Temp Data Logger for Lab Frozen Transportation Cold Chain Fresh Tag, 120 Days 1 Pack" by Forsensal These temperature data loggers are so useful. Recently I had to store something that needed to stay below 55 degrees F., ideally below 45 degrees. It was really nice to be able to verify the temperature remained stable-ish despite changing external conditions. The data logger is super easy to use, just push the power button for 3 seconds until the light turns on. The unit then starts collecting data on a regular basis. You can set a delay but I did not test that as I did not need it. Once you are done logging, plug into a PC and a drive will appear. In the drive will be a .PDF document containing the data points. It literally could not be easier. The unit barely consumes any current and contains what I assume is a non-rechargeable lithium battery so it should be good far beyond the maximum data recording period of 240 days (depending on model). I really appreciate that the unit comes in a sealed heavy duty vinyl envelope that must be cut open to plug into a PC. That keeps it completely dry and means I could just toss it in without really having to worry about what it came in contact with. It does come with a small square of 3M double stick foam tape in case you want to mount the recorder. Given the price, this is a great value for the money and I will likely be ordering more in the future. Oh, I almost forgot: I noted and compared the readings from before it was in the cold box, in the box, and after it returned to room temperature. The data points were all correct within a half degree Celsius compared to a digital thermometer and a backup analog one, which is what the specs specify.

PERFECT for perishable shipments - works great.
PERFECT!!!! I never knew these existed. What a brilliant idea! I have family in Seattle that asks me to send them food from here in NJ that is not available there. Some of the food they ask for is perishable so we always pack the food with ice and kind of hope for the best. Now with these we know for SURE that the food stays at a safe temperature. These are incredibly easy to use. Hit start, and put it where you want! When it arrives, open it up, plug it into your computer and it downloads you all the info! I was trying to get my family in Seattle to get me screenshots of the charts and info screen but they couldn’t figure that out (that’s a computer thing, no fault of the logger). It functioned exactly as expected and seemed to be very accurate. The battery lasted as long as it was in transit for which was 3 days total, I’m sure it lasts longer than that but that is all we tested it for. If you are using this for food like I am, I sealed it in a small snack size ziplock baggie and put it right in the middle of the food. Obviously keeping it loose in the box or resting on the ice packs it will just show that temp and not the food temp. The peace of mind that comes with this is invaluable. I would feel terrible if they got sick because of spoiled food, not to mention the waste of money if it goes bad. Great product! 5/5 stars for sure!!! Already ordered 2 more just to have them on hand and will definitely be using these for every shipment out west. I will try to get them to figure out how to take a screenshot on the computer and add them to the review eventually.

The Temp Logger You Want
This temperature data logger is compact, well-designed, and easy to set up. The build quality feels solid, and the interface is simple to use. I like the USB functionality for quick data access, and the overall design is straightforward and practical. Great batter life for the duration of the logger. Looks like it will be very useful for monitoring temperature over time with a high level of accuracy. Definitely worth the price point. 10/10 easily!

Fast, easy, effective.
Easy to activate, easy to read. Perhaps a little outside of its intended use, some colleagues and I had been growing plants on our desk in the office, and during the harsh winter we'd been having, were concerned about the overnight, and over-weekend temperatures when nobody is around. The data logger was quite easy to activate, and is inside a sealed plastic pouch, so there was no concern about it getting splashed by watering. I was not able to find a way to set the range of the high and low limit alerts. The pouch included a pair of serialized barcode stickers that the shipper and receiver could retain for tracking. I made note of the date and time I started the unit, as I wasn't sure how the report would be registered - I'm not sure if it took the date and time information from the computer I used to read it in, or if it's in US Central Time by default, but the report showed accurate time and dates on the individual log lines. The PDF generated included a line-graph summary on the first page, as well as many pages of incremental temperature measurements and the time they were taken. Definitely worth the cost if you're sending a package and are concerned about maintaining the cold chain throughout the journey.
