SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter Cable for 2.5" SSD HDD Hard Drive Adapter 6Gbps

works great on all my hard drives.

As a retired 55-year-old Oilfield Machinist with little tech experience, I wasn’t sure I could retrieve the files off my old laptop when it died. The keyboard repair was too expensive, so I bought a new laptop—but I still needed my data. After watching a few YouTube videos, I purchased this SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter Cable, and I’m honestly amazed at how easy it was. Removing the hard drive from my old laptop was straightforward. I plugged it into the adapter, then connected the adapter to my new laptop. At first, it was slow to respond and I worried it wasn’t working—but after a brief wait, the blue light blinked and the drive popped up on my screen. That moment felt like magic. I was able to access everything—documents, photos, programs—without needing a tech service. This little device saved me from spending over $100 just to recover old files. If you’re not a computer expert and want a budget-friendly way to retrieve your data, this adapter is worth every penny. It truly worked like a charm.

Effing worked!!! I was shocked. $8 adapter truly plug and play. And it worked. Wow. I bought my daughter a new computer and I didn't have any additional plugs on the cable from the mother board to plug in her old secondary ssd drive from her old computer that held all her games progress and mods, photos she had etc. This was her extra storage drive on her old computer. Figured it would be easy to attach to the mother board of the new one, but nope, new computer has lots of upgraded hardware and bells and whistles taking up all the plugs inside the tower. Found this just by searching for an adapter. Saw it for 8$ figured why not? For $8 what's there to lose. Came in the mail, plugged it in, 30 seconds later windows 11 picked it up and assigned a drive letter. Clicked on the new drive and everything was there and accessible for my daughter. Perfect! Easy fix. Happy Daughter, happy life! Buy it. It works!!

Great price for an adapter cable! They look nice, and the cable management is really easy right out of the box. Everything was straightforward to use and I didn’t need any instructions. Simple, convenient, and exactly what I needed.

It came on time and just what I orders

Excelente!

Good product. Works as should.

Prometeram o adaptador e não veio. :(

Much more reasonably priced that others listed on Amazon. Works well - I was able to transfer my OS from a HDD to a SSD via this cable.

Funciona muito bem para SSDs SATA e HDDs 5V. Para HDDs de desktop, este produto não vai servir: a energia entregue por este adaptador não é o suficiente para energizá-los.

...and works perfectly to check discs with, fast and easy.

Excelente produto.
