Kotex Ultra Thin Pads, Heavy, 56 Count

I previously used the old kotex ultra thin pads, and was reluctant to change to the new ones since I often find that "new and improved" products often have chemicals that irritate my skin, don't work as well, or are significantly more expensive. I've been using them for a few months now, and I am happy to report that these new "Leak Shield" ultra thins REALLY ARE EVEN BETTER than the old product!!! First of all, there are no irritating chemicals, nothing that causes me irritation, and because these also draw fluid away from surface, they are even more comfortable for sensitive skin. The Leak Shield actually reduces accidental leaks on to my panties, and finally the cost for 56 pads is the same as for the old ones. Thank you, Kotex!

Very thin and very absorbent. I prefer the ones with wings, but I’ve accidentally ordered the ones without a couple of times. The Heavy ones are a bit longer than the Regular, so check the sizing. I’m a very tall woman and I’m heavyset so the Heavy ones fit me better for everyday, but they don’t seem any thicker to me. They stick very well to your undies and the only time I’ve had an issue is on hot days when things are a bit damp. That all said I don’t know how well these would work if you’re super active, working out or doing sports, but they work well for me and my boring office job. I prefer them to competing brands as they’re thinner and fit my large size better.

These are things and pliable. They don't bunch up and stay in place. It absorbs like a charm, leaving me drier than the others.

The product did what it promised to do. No leaks or odors, and very breathable. Wearing it felt like self-care. I was comfortable physically and in mind for the first in a long time wearing a pad. I hope it continues to maintain this rep.

Feels like an upgrade. I always use notes ultra thin heavy pads and I enjoyed the redesign a lot. It reminds me of the super cute teen pads design they had back in the day but more adult. I love this bc just since im woman doesn't mean I want boring plain white pads. These are actually dare I say cute. Even the pads have this fuzzy soft cotton layer without changing too much but the 3d core is now boosted higher instead of sitting down lower in the pad. I like the upgrades and the cute designs, it was a win for me

I have been a HUGE fan of Kotex for years and years and loved their ultra thin long pads.Why did you change?! These are so big and not absorbing at all. They cause chafing and irritation! Awful. I'm so bummed that I now need to hunt for a new favorite.

I really like the redesign of the product. It is a nice thin pad being narrower at the front and wider at the back.BUT I hate the new packaging. It is very thin cardboard. Both times I have gotten them, at least one corner was smashed in. If opened on the perforation the individual pads are hard to get out.

These work well, but the glue backing is weak compared to the other Kotex U I had been buying. I've had a few slip down at the top because they don't hold as well, I roll them up to toss and unfortunately, they come unrolled immediately. Hopefully I can find the U I was using, that was gender neutral without designs.

An upgrade, and very good one. Easy to use, good quality. An excellent buy.

product now contains much more plastic in the bottom layer, making it bunchier, causing major irritation. Packaging is bulkier and new design is way too flashy for an intimate product. The new product is NOT an improvement. Go back to previous version or I will have to switch brands to a more eco-freindly and less irritating product
