Clover 339 Chibi with Darning Needles

This is a must-have set of darning needles for anyone who is just starting to knit or crochet, and a great addition to the established knitter or crocheter's arsenal of tools (like Clover Knit Mate Knitting Accessories Set ). Makes a great stocking stuffer! The case comes with three different sized straight steel darning needles, one that can double as a yarn needle to weave in your loose ends or for the kitchener stitch. The screw-on lid has a little tab with a hole that you can attach a jump ring to (I'd recommend a small gauge split ring, like a small key chain) which would allow you to attach it to a Chums Carabiner Keychain to clip onto your knitting bag with your Clover Thread Cutter Pendant, Antique Silver or other tools like a Clover Yarn Threader , or hang it on a chain around your neck to make it easy to find. The chubby case is easy to locate in the bottom of your knitting bag (My favorite is the Bagsmith Black Project Bag Knitting Craft Collapsible Storage Stand ) and the screw-on lid keeps those needles where they belong, away from delicate fingers when you go digging around in your notions bag looking for something! Additionally, the case is roomy enough to add more needles to and could even hold some small stitch markers and a safety pin if you need to travel light with your project.

I had been using straight needles to finish my knit/crochet projects until I saw a friend using one of these. I bought two sets right away. I used my new needle last night and it was SO MUCH EASIER than a straight needle. The bent tip grabs the stitch you want without you having to push your hand down to finagle it. The gold-ish color of this needle made it easy to see, the size made it easy to manage, the size of the eye made it easy to 'thread' the yarn through, and the smoothness lets it slide through your stitches. Someone left a review that it felt "cheap". I disagree. I have used plastic embroidery needles in the past, and this is not plastic and does not feel unsubstantial. I like the size and had no trouble with it on my light-worsted-weight project. Perhaps for really thin yarns it might be too big, but it probably depends more on the tightness and elasticity of the stitch/yarn in question. I love the screw-top case the needles come in. I have one for my home bag and one for my on-the-road bag. I am so happy with my purchase!

The needle sizes are a good range of three sizes for various projects. What makes this a really great product though is the case. The plastic is brightly colored so it is easy to find when it's not quite where I thought I left it, or if it rolls out and gets buried in the larger section of my bag. It's a nice size, can hold different or more needles if desired, but isn't too big taking up space nor too small making it hard to find. The lid is a screw cap so no worries about it popping off and the needles going missing. The lid also has a hole nicely placed so you can put a tie through it and then attach the needle case to something if desired. Very handy! All in all a very nice design--a big bonus for me as I was after needles (and a set of three was perfect) with the case being a pleasant surprise. JTG

I do a lot of needlework -- mostly crochet -- and enjoy using a variety of colors in one project. And as most crocheters know, multiple colors means you have a LOT of ends to weave! I use both yarn (for afghans, mostly, or scarves) and crochet cotton thread (size 10, for doilies, snowflakes, bookmarks, etc.). The needles that come with this little case are great for yarn, just the right size. I purchased some smaller blunt-tipped needles to use with crochet thread and store them in this case, which then goes into my project bag. VERY convenient way to keep them together. Very happy with this! The case is sturdy enough, and the lid screws into the case securely, so I don't worry about ending up with all my needles in the bottom of my project bag. No issues at all. Nice yarn needles. This is the only brand I buy as they are always smooth, without burrs or cracks.

Possibly overpriced but convenient all the same. It's nice how you can put the container on a cord. You can fit all kinds of little things in there.

In spite of the fact I keep swearing I will get a little case for my crochet hooks and notions, I never seem to get around to it, as I don't want to add another lumpy object to the bag I keep my projects in. So I tend to end up with a Ziploc baggie with extra hooks and bits and scraps in it. As you can imagine, that doesn't work out well with yarn needles unless you keep the original packaging envelope they came with, which is a pain to deal with. I liked the needles that came with this for finishing off my projects, but even better was the little case for the needles. Easy to find and fish out of the bottom of my bag, too big to be easily lost, but compact enough to not get in the way in there. Even more important, no rough edges that snag on my projects. Additionally, you could fit several more needles or even some small notions like buttons in that case. This was a great little purchase that I am very happy with.

Die Firma ist Unschlagbar, habe nie was von denen gekauft was nicht so funktioniert hat wie angegeben. Die Nadeln sind gut verpackt, von der Dicke eignen .sich eher für Chenille oder 10er Wolle. Die Krümmung vereinfacht die Arbeit ungemein. Ich habe mehrere Nadeln von Clover in verschiedenen Größen und benutze sie fast ausschließlich soweit sie zur hand sind.

Producto correcto y tal cual se describe

schon allein die Aufbewahrung in dem Röhrchen das sich mit einem Dreh verschließen lässt rechtfertigt die volle Sternchenzahl. Aber die Nadeln sind auch super! Unterschiedliche Größen bieten für unterschiedliche Fäden immer die richtige Größe. ich gebe zu dass ich ALLE Nadeln von Clover in der Zwischenzeit habe eben weil ich die wirklich für durchdacht erachte. Und damit läßt sich wirklich sehr gut arbeiten.
