SVS PB-3000 R|Evolution Ported Subwoofer - Black Ash

I rarely leave reviews. Awesome subwoofer. Going to buy the bookshelf speakers from SVS that go with it. It's massive and needs two people to get it where you want it. FedEx delivered it and had me sign for it. Just had a bad experience with ordering another expensive device, but this came on time and the driver couldn't just leave it unattended. If you're on the fence about buying it, go ahead. You won't regret it! EDIT: I hooked this subwoofer up to the SVSound Pro Wireless Speakers with just 1 wire of rca cable. The gain on the sub was set to -10 out of 0 and its too loud. My neighbor 2 houses down came out to say how good it sounded in his house! I know that was the nice way of telling me to turn that stuff off, lol. I will have to keep the decibels on the lower end. The bass is so deep and perfect. TLDR; WARNING!!! YOUR NEIGHBORS MAY NOT LIKE THIS. IT'S VERY POWERFUL.

The SVS 3000 Micro R|Evolution is an impressive compact subwoofer. It delivers deep, clean, and powerful bass, and SVS Auto EQ made it blend very well with my 2.1 living room setup for movies, games, and music. I purchased it Used - Like New from IQ Home Entertainment. The seller confirmed the condition, original box, accessories, and warranty, and shipped very quickly. The item arrived exactly as described. Highly recommended.

I bought this to compliment my existing SVS PB-3000. I have had dual subs for quite some time, the first was a Yamaha from 2003 that still worked great (8" subs/200w) and then paired it with a PB3000. I wanted to get another PB3000 to run dual as I felt the bass at the lower end could be better (although my system sounded good). I didn't realize that SVS had refreshed their line. I went ahead and bought the PB3000R. The upgraded AMP is very nice and it hits deep. I noticed I had a firmware update available as soon as I paired my phone to the sub. Upgrade was easy. I ran the new auto eq then YPAO and man, my sound system has taken on a new life! This sub is fantastic!

Worth it! As imagined and the sound is on another level!

A good value for a micro high performance subwoofer, best for for smaller spaces This works well in my small-ish living room, appx 20 x 24 feet. The phone app enables quick and precise tuning, and the presets are handy for switching from movie "slam" to musically accurate tunings.

This revision to the SVS 3000Micro is substantial and worthwhile. The previous version had significant harmonic distortion below 40 Hz -- this one is clean! The manufacturer's published frequency response "20Hz to 230Hz +/-3dB" is still a joke -- if you ruler across their own published graph, it's more like +0/-10dB, i.e. you won't get noticeable output at 20Hz. But I believe their claim, "20% to 60% lower acoustic THD+N in critical low frequency bandwidth compared to previous generation." What remains is "Subwoofer Auto Room Equalization (Coming Soon)" which, 3 months from launch, is still not available for *this* model. Even without the feature, you can run REW & EQ it to your room.

Great sounding sub, super nice just wasn't for me.
