Black Sparkle Gel, 3.5 oz.

Works great and doesn't even taste too bad either. I used it to create a little "pond" on a cake and it looked really nice. I had no real expectation of it tasting all that good but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor.

This blue sparkle gel really made my son’s cake pop! 🤩. Easy to work with and I would definitely recommend if you want some good depth to your design. The sparkles are subtle but beautiful! A bit pricey but I’m saving so much by making my own cake I can look past that. I honestly didn’t eat much of it, but no complaints on the taste and I didn’t notice any blue mouths. 😂

I loved this stuff! So pretty with the hint of sparkle! It worked really well also - hardly any air bubbles and only the occasional stutter in flow which was really easy to fix, and sooooo easy to use for someone who is NOT a professional cake decorator like me! As for the taste... it tastes just like every other frosting product out there and I couldn't tell any difference when eating it along with a store-bought sheet cake. it tastes just like regular frosting if you ask me. I don't know what people expect from a packaged product, but I thought it tasted fine. Not great, of course! It's in a tube! I mean, really? It's plenty good enough for casual parties and kids and family and if you like frosting (like my husband does) he thought it was really sweet and really good and complimented the cake flavors really well. He gave it two thumbs up! Overall, Best cheater-piping product I've ever used!

Cheaper in stores but I could not find it so I bought it here. Lovely vibrant black color , the sparkles could show as well. Pretty much what you are buying is exactly what you are getting. No surprises. Have fun making your cake!

Good stuff. We used this to decorate the exposed brownie "domes" on our Baked Alaska. It doesn't look exactly like real gold, but that isn't the point of food decoration. It looks good. It's easy to work with. It doesn't taste like much, but it's edible.

I used the red for lava on my cupcakes and it came out great! When it fully dries it’s very sticky (just fyi)

I had dropped it off to a bakery to write my daughter's name on her birthday cake they made. The baker said the color was a lot closer to yellow than gold (I agree after see it). The gel was too liquid and ran atop the cake. The bakery had to scrape the gel off and start over to salvage the cake. Very disappointing and surprising given that it is from Wilton.

I wouldn’t call it sparkly. It’s more of a clear caramel color gel. It’s also difficult to pipe directly out of the tube. You have to squeeze it quite hard which affects your ability have a gentle flowing handwritten script.

Works really well

Bought this gel as I had seen it recommended to look like water when decorating a cake. It was so perfect and turned and brilliant on my sons birthday cake to create a waterfall, on top of white buttercream, it even created ‘rapid look’ water. 10/10 would highly recommend, great price too!
