STICK HANDLER Professional Drumstick Grip Tape Pro Pack (Black | Two Pack)

The stick tape did exactly as advertised. I bought the tape because I have a nerve problem that doesn't allow me to keep my fulcrum position. I constantly had to readjust the sticks because they kept sliding I started using heavier sticks and even tried marching band sticks but I still had the problem. I play traditional grip and use a Vic Firth 2 B as my go to stick. I studied with a Joe Morello student and used a lot of rebound and finger technique. The tape did the trick. I has the texture of gauze with a tacky feel that allows you to wrap your sticks easily. Once I put the tape on, I knew my problem was solved. No more lost fulcrum. I would recommend this product to every drummer.

While this is not supergluing sticks to your hands and making them literal extensions of your fingers, the grippiness is there and picks up after you hold them awhile. Best feature of this product is the cohesion of the tape. It tacks to itself and does not slip across the stick like Vater grip strips. Furthermore, whereas for $6.79 I can wrap two pair with the Vater strips, with this tape I can wrap 16 pair with two rolls for about $10. That's a lot more economical. It also does not add as much mass to the back end of the sticks.

When first applied, I had good use of the wrap. However, as you can see from the pictures, it gets worn, breaks, and needs to be replaced. No biggie I guess, but I won't be buying again.

It is nearly impossible to find the edge of the tape/gauze. I got one piece from each roll and the rest was useless. I cut my hand twice, both deeply, trying to find the end of the tape roll and use it after the first piece. Wound up throwing away both roles. Terrible product. Avoid at all costs!

Very thin and not very 'grippy'...I used this over some thicker stick'em type tape, that made for a decent amount of grip without the stick'em residue on hands and a bit of a cushion effect too. Fine product just not quite what I was expecting.

Much better than the other major brand (H….). for grip of the hockey stick!! Other brand separated was hard to peel of and put on stick! This is easier to work with, lasts longer and doesn’t hurt your glove!

Stick tape is great. It is not unique to the seller. I needed it the day before it arrived. I got an I’m sorry we’re running late. I’ll find somebody else.
