I recently purchased the eufy X8 Pro SES, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! Although I don't have pets, this vacuum has been a lifesaver in dealing with the postpartum hair fall that seems to be everywhere in my home. It picks up hair with remarkable efficiency, leaving my floors spotless and saving me so much time and effort. One of my main concerns before buying was how well it would perform on carpets, and I'm thrilled to report that it's exceeded my expectations. The X8 Pro SES handles carpets like a pro, thoroughly cleaning them and leaving them looking fresh. If you're on the fence about this vacuum, don't be—it's worth every penny! The set up was super easy, multi mapping system is a great feature that allows me to save multiple maps. It’s not too noisy, just like the regular vacuums. Although the mop feature is not that great, but it’s still ok to have for the sake of it, however don’t buy it if you are looking for a great mopping device. Overall I’m happy with the suction and overall quality of the cleaning. It’s been almost a month now and I have no issues so far. I’ll update if anything comes up.

This is overall an excellent product, I bought one a few years ago and it sadly died after using it twice daily for two years, and couldn't be fixed so in researching its replacement I ended up buying the same one again as it was such as simple good product. I can tell they have updated it and made changes the filters and software meaning it's still current. After several years of use here's the key takeaways Pros - 1) much better at actually cleaning than i expected, gets into the corners, maps the room and recognises if you've taken it upstairs to another known map. You can set deeper cleans too, such as at night or while you are at work, you can tell it to do the kitchen or set areas twice. 2) It can deal with changes in furniture or people, never has an issue finding where it is even if you think the surroundings may have changed. 3) the self-emptying dust collection is really good, i've tested it and it really does empty the full tank really well. The dustbins liners last a long time and they're easy to empty if you prefer to spend a bit of time fiddling it if don't want to order fresh ones. 4) Its pretty good at climbing small ledges like change in flooring, matts or rugs. 5) the active detangling is good at ensuring hair doesn't wrap around the roller 6) The base station is really compact, easy to set up and compared to others ive seen isn't as massive or space taking. although the instructions share you need clearance either side, mine works fine up against a cupboard and within a small alcove. The base station size and compactness is what swayed me to re-buy. Also, it comes with a carpet base matt, if you want to place it on carpet giving you more choice. 7) the smart integration is really good when it works (i've had issues recently but this may be Alexa or Eufy not sure what the issue is). Alexa ask robovac to go home is great for when you are in a work call. 8) Customer service is really good, messaging through amazon chat is the easiest, they sent me new filters when I got an old version by accident, and they continued to check back to ensure I was satisfied or if it was resolved. Cons 1) It gets stuck quite a bit, a sock or cable will mean you come home to it stuck and it hasn't been able to finish it's clean, it doesn't have the avoidance features some have, ie notices a shoe or a sock and goes around it, can't do that so if you have a cluttered floor from kids or lazy husbands all the time you might get frustrated with having to help it all the time. 2) It can be noisy going over tiles, but i think a recent firmware update has helped this. 3) The self emptying is very loud, this is ok for me as i set it to only empty every few times, but some people may be frustrated with the loudness. 4) the filter still needs to be cleaned, it does a good job at emptying the tray, but you still need to complete the filter cleaning regularly 5) The mop tank needs filling often, if you want to use this regularly, if you want it as an accessional mop this is not an issue. Overall I would recommend this, it's often on amazon for 349/320GBP so wait for a sale.

I have had several different Robot Vacuums over the years. This one trumps them all. It is slower but more methodical. It covers every inch of your floors. The edge brush has been slowed down so as not to flick stuff so far away the robot misses picking it up. It is intelligent, the mapping is excellent, the app is excellent, suction is brilliant. Much better than the Dyson robot I had. It self empties which is a time saver. If I had anything negative to say about this I would have to say the anti-hair wrap is not that great. Hair does get wrapped around the brush but not as frequent as it used to. I have had it now for two months and it runs at least once a day and it has never got stuck. It has always found it's base for emptying and recharging. The app allows mapping of a second floor so I have it doing upstairs as well. It changes suction power to suit floor type. The app is easy to use and has a lot of functions making it easy to use this robot. The room only clean and zone clean are also excellent. Highly recommend this robot if you are looking for one. Really annoyed & angry about this one, mainly due to the lack of support & service from eufy. Initially the robot vac was great, super easy to set up, so compact with the SES compared to others too. The lidar works very well to scan rooms. It's fairly quick doing a job & it is good at picking up dog hairs from our furball. However it all began to go downhill fairly quickly...and eufys support is non existent I've tried for weeks to get things sorted out & they never reply let alone help. Problems faced: The dustbin doesn't empty very well at all (see pictures that's after using the app to empty the vac three times! There's always bits of rubbish stuck under the brush It makes an annoying clicking sound when moving in certain directions The app clearly isn't working properly as it's definitely been used for more than 0 hours and the app says the dustbin still has 50 hours (100%) of life left in it, I can tell you it doesn't! The "estimated" life span of parts is not at all accurate...the filter really doesn't last that long & if you want to prolong the life of the vac & filter I highly recommend you check the filter every 2 or 3 cleaning cycles & clean it with an air duster or something to keep performance optimal. The detangling feature definitely works well however you need to check for build up around the parts especially if you use the mop function at the same time as it forms a dusty build up that will probably erode the rubber. Until eufy sort out their customer support, fix the app & firmware I'd probably say avoid the robovac for now. Maybe I'm unlucky but these are problems I wouldn't expect to happen so early into using the machine.

Love this. Had it 9 months so feel able to give a well tested review. I chose this because of the empty station and mop. However, the mopping function is more of a floor wipe and I probably would've been better getting the cheaper SES eufy vacuum without the mop function. I have still given 5 stars because I'm so happy with the performance of this little beauty. First set her to mapping the layout of your house via the app (which is excellent in my opinion) close any doors of the rooms you don't want to include, I won't let her (yes she's a she, she vacuums!) into my son's room for obvious reasons. Then, in the app, section off the doorways to enable you to name your rooms. You can set her to clean individual rooms or the whole house, auto clean by day and time or set it off manually via the app or using Alexa. She only got lost once when the wifi went off but I left her alone and in a couple of minutes she reconnected spun a couple circles and went happily on her way. There is an option to vacuum just a small area of a room by drawing on the map, works a treat. You can have multiple maps but I've only used one. The dust box is small but this isn't a problem because when she's full she'll go back to her station and empty then go back to where she left off and resume cleaning. The route is planned, not random. First she'll go around the edge of the room anticlockwise so the edging brush gets right up to the skirting board. Then she plans her route not going over the same area twice unless she has to cross it to get to her next job. I can definitely recommend this machine, we have dogs, we live on a farm and the family call her my indoor baler, she's been well tested in that respect. She goes round everyday and honestly my house has never been so clean, I just wish she could reach the cobwebs on my ceilings.

Super impressed with its performance. Cleans so well, suction is really good. It’s not intended to do a deep clean but a perfect option for maintenance cleaning. Time saver for a busy family. Easily gets under furniture. Cleans engineered and laminated flooring beautifully! I have rug in my daughter’s room and the suction was incredible. We also have a play mat from Tottle and Tumble, and it cleaned it well too. It’s not too noisy, except when it empties the dust into the SES. Mopping function was impressive too. Definitely value for money and if you’re like me, a little OCD with a clean house - then a perfect investment! Setting up was easy and the mapping function is brilliant. I’m super chuffed!

I had if for 2 weeks and so far I'm very pleased with it. Is it perfect? No. But it's worth the money I paid for it. It was one of the cheaper options with self emptying stations, I considered. I wish I got it sooner but Some of the reviews stated that it loses connection, getting lost and can't find it's way back to the base. We did lost one map but it was due to my husband movin the base. We had no issues after that. It did got lost once when I interrupted it's cleaning process but after a moment it did find it's way back to the base. My advice is to find the place for the base where no one will bump into it and don't move it unless its really necessary, and don't interupt the vacuuming proses by adding mop pad unless the unit is back at the charging station. And when the little fella seams lost, give him time, he'll go in circles for few minutes and find his way home. The biggest con I see here: 1.Mopping function is very meh. It's more like wiping than anything else. How good can it clean with a pice of cloth and cold water only? But it's ok if you have a dog and want to wipe the floors after a rainy walk. 2.before you turn the robot on, make sure all the chargers, lose cables and small objects are off the flor as it can and will " eat" them. Now to the pros: 1. It clean effortlessly. You can just send it to work and relax with a cup of coffee 2. The mapping is quite good. 3. It can work for around 1h on one charge, it goes back to charge itself if battery is low and then continue from the place it finished last. 4. It self emptying every 20 minites, unless you set it differently 5. Self cleaning brush. Real godsend if you have a furry friend. 6. You can set invisible walls and no mopping/no go zones. You'll still have to use traditional vacuum and mop from time to time to keep the house clean , but this little fella will definitely help you keep it tidy with a busy life.

I have owned the X8 Pro with SES for about 2 weeks now. This is my first robot vacuum. I find Anker/Eufy products are generally decent quality and value and this is no exception. The setup was very simple, the app is well made and has all the functionality you will need with a simple interface. The vacuum itself does a good job. On first use it sets out and finds the edges of all rooms to create a map. Once thats done the cleaning starts. It's not as powerful as my regular Shark vacuum but definitely good enough. I was impressed the vacuum was able to climb onto my shaggy rugs and clean them too, only once getting into a spot of bother when an upturned corner of the rug trapped it. I've only used the mopping feature once so far, but it was simple to set up and did a good job. The vacuum itself seems well built and should withstand a lot of use. It’s not very loud in operation but the self emptying station does make quite a racket for a few seconds whilst doing its thing. There is an option to disable self emptying at certain hours. I have found the SES to work really well and I’m pleased I opted for this, its would be a drag to have to manually empty the vacuum every few days. I have the vacuum scheduled to run 3 days per week when I’m at work. You have to make sure the floor is clear from any potential tangles or hazards before you set it off. Not a big deal. To come home from work to a fully vacuumed floor is a delight I have not yet become accustomed to! Overall I’m very pleased with this. You may still need the occasional regular vacuum, but to keep on top of cleaning it’s perfect.

This is my first robot vacuum, so I can’t compare it to other brands. It’s incredibly easy to use. It scans the apartment at the beginning and then starts vacuuming. It also mops, but I think it’s better at vacuuming than mopping. Maybe mopping is more advanced in other models, but it does a good job of mopping. The app is also great. It gives you a lot of control features. I like the manual control through the app, which is sometimes necessary for specific cleaning tasks.

Unlike some competitors, it rarely gets stuck—only minor blockages occurred with socks, a curtain, and a thin doormat. Its obstacle-avoidance algorithm is robust, though not infallible. Hair Detangling & Maintenance The brushless roller design and hair-detangling mechanism are effective, as pet hair rarely clogs the brush. However, the self-emptying system has a critical limitation: fine cat hair and dust frequently remain in the dustbin due to the dense plastic mesh and HEPA filter setup. The station’s suction is insufficient to clear debris stuck to the mesh, even in Pet Mode (15-minute auto-return cycles). In practice, this means manual intervention is required after every cleaning session—emptying the dustbin and cleaning the mesh to maintain performance. While the vacuum leaves floors clean, the lack of true "hands-free" operation is a notable drawback for busy households. Suction & Cleaning Performance Suction power is strong and consistent, leaving floors visibly clean. The multi-surface adaptability (hardwood, carpet) is reliable, though edge-cleaning could be more aggressive. App & Connectivity The eufyClean app is functional but lacks sophistication. Basic controls work, but multi-user sharing is cumbersome: users must be registered in the same region/server, or access fails.
