Men's Steens Mountain Full Zip 2.0

Love this fleece, it's comfortable, well made, and fits perfectly. Its light, but works perfectly as a midlayer or wearing around the house in colder months. I use this year round and love the colour and styling. Quality product from a quality brand.

The fleece is very soft, confirming and will keep you warm. The quality is great, it’s very lightweight and easy to pull off. I wouldn’t say its thick, but does the job to use in spring or to use as a mid layer in winter. Got this for a very good price so I would recommend.

Size L, colour black. I got this fleece because reviews suggested it was spacious and thin, exactly what I wanted as a layer: thin to avoid "too cold without, too hot with" and to pack small when hiking. Spacious to allow air next to the layer below. Long sleeves, tight enough at wrists to keep the sleeves above hands. This fleece meets all those wants. That's great because finding such a fleece has been a challenge. Unfortunately, as shown in the photo next to a black fleece, this fleece is grey instead of black.

I have been wearing this fleece for the past 3 weeks almost every day and I can certainly say it was a good decision. It is warm, but you do not overheat in it and I really like the fit and the material (it feels qualitative and not just some cheap synthethic as I keep on seeing nowadays). As for the fit, I would recommend sizing down as a size L fits most likely like an XL. I tested it in hiking conditions and it keeps me warm without overheating and kept me warm on the top of the mountain where the temperatur was 2 degrees but the wind chill was -10 degrees. I would overall recommend to purchase this fleece as it is a good addition for casual winter wardrobe as well for instances in which hiking is involved.

How does one choose a fleece when there are so many on the market. Columbia is a reliable name and the feel of this fleece is higher quality that the Decathlon fleece I was replacing after many years f use. Perfect for travelling on planes when it is too warm outside but during the flight this wraps up small enough to fit in hand luggage and is easily accessible to wear during the flight when it gets cold. I am normally a medium but have gained weight so I erred on the side of caution with a Large and it is perfect - even though the old medium was bit tight!! Great value at the discounted price so would thoroughly recommend.

I have worn Columbia fleeces for years. I have noticed though that the zip is of a lower quality. It tends to split open from the bottom up. Unusually the blue fleeces from them are fine. Perhaps a different factory?

Good value, warm, high quality, true to size, zip appears to be good quality and will be durable.

They are really useful for carrying small essentials like keys or a phone, and I appreciate not having to worry about things falling out when I am moving around. It makes the sweater feel more functional than a typical fleece. One important lesson I learned is to always zip it up before washing. The zipper did get damaged in the washing machine the first time, which was frustrating and ended up being the reason I replaced it. Since then, I have been more careful with how I wash it. Overall, it is a comfortable, practical, and well designed sweater that works well for daily use. As long as you take care of it properly in the wash, it holds up nicely and remains a reliable piece of clothing.

Purtroppo quando si acquista online ci sono dei rischi come quello di acquistare un prodotto basandosi unicamente su qualche foto vista online o nella scheda prodotto del e-commerce di turno. Ebbene, il Columbia Steens Mountain Full Zip 2.0 dalle foto sembrava una gran bellezza, mi sarei aspettato una giacca in pile consistente, bella calda e soprattutto nera; le aspettative erano davvero alte conoscendo anche la grande qualità dei capi Columbia. Aprendo il pacco invece mi ritrovo una giacca orribile nel materiale (più plastica che pile), consistenza dei materiali ridicola per un marchio come Columbia (giacca davvero leggera, le foto in scheda prodotto potrebbero farvi credere purtroppo il contrario). Il colore ? Non nero come in foto e in descrizione ma un grigio scuro tendente al blu navy. Tralasciando il discorso del colore sballato, se avevo bisogno di una giacca in pile di qualità cinese non venivo a spendere più di 28 euro su amazon ma sarei andato direttamente al mercato o al negozio cinese dietro l'angolo, no ? Amazon, sicuri che sia un prodotto originale e non un tarocco ?? 1 stella meritata, ne sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto.
