Arch support?
Tevas are, in my opinion, top of the line sandals. On Teva website, requested “arch support “; on Amazon, requested “arch support “; both websites listed this model. Neither I, nor my podiatrist see any evidence of arch support on these sandals. Loose one star.

Nice looking but unbelievably uncomfortable
Absolutely the most uncomfortable sandals I ever tried to wear. I thought Tevas would be good (from experience), but the straps actually cut and scraped my insteps. Wore them twice. Truly awful. Goodbye $$$ One star because they look good.

Had a similar pair which were excellent and lasted for ten years ! These feel just the same - well worth paying a little extra for !

Great for off-road foot protection, less so for overall comfort
Solid and with a good sole for walking, however, they are heavy and clunky and somehow make my feet feel hotter when the weather is very warm. The straps felt rough and needed wearing in too. I was disappointed given the brand's reputation, and within a few days, I bought some Gumbies sandals. While the sole isn't as cushioned, they immediately felt soft and cool, providing comfort without adding weight or heat.
