If you haven't gotten Vol 1,2,3 of Jon Courson, your missing out. Jon has a wonderful way of explaining the scriptures. Such a tremendous teaching tool.

The best Bible commentator I've ever read! Get ready to see the connections between the Old Testament in the New Testament in the most poignant ways! The author explains how the Old Testament is a picture of Jesus to come. The qualities of Jesus Christ are exemplified in God's specific way to design the temple in the wilderness. This author will take you on a voyage of seeing an aspect or concept Jesus in every book of the Old Testament. And the New Testament will show you Grace around every corner. We have both Old Testament and the New Testament.

Jon Cousin has been my favorite Speaker/Pastor since I got saved in 1994. I am so thankful The Lord led me to his teachings because he is an in-depth Bible scholar. I was a sponge and really was seeking to know The Lord. I would not be as mature in my knowledge of God without Pastor Jon's resources. Highly recommended!!

The insight Jon Courson has is amazing. There are a few things that need to be edited, but I get so much from these commentaries, the few things I don't agree with, or that are typo type errors, can be overlooked.

Jon's verse by verse commentary is very descriptive and thought-provoking. Jon Courson is truly a man of God who's heart is to share God's Word in an easy to grasp way that is very thorough and detailed in style. He will challenge you to see and understand God's Word and change your life to conform more to His image. We also had the pleasure of going on a pilgrimage with him to Israel! Wow! What a privilege to hear him teach and cause you to reflect on your walk with the Lord! You can listen to his sermons online from Applegate Christian Fellowship, too! Thank you, Pastor Courson! You are a true blessing to me! I have purchased several sets of this commentary for my family members.

While some have criticized various things about these volumes, I like the practicality as well as the writing style of Job Courson. There are some things I might not agree with scripturally - but I do the same with Matthew Henry and Calvin in their commentaries. One thing lacking in today’s sermons in a lot of churches I have been to is an application aspect to the sermon. Its critical that people get the “So What?!” aspect of the sermon. We prepare sermons not just to feed the church flock for the week, but to “pack their bags” so they can feed others during the week. I feel that Jon Courson has written a great resource to help keep me mindful of items to pack for the flock to take with them. A very valuable addition to my pastoral library! I am glad to have these!

if you want to understand the bible, this a guide to use. Easy , simple but thorough explanation of every book in OLD TESTAMENT. Highly recommended for every person, whatever your knowledge or passion for this book. Jon Courson's teaching on the internet is equally good.
