Perfect for location shoots
Needed a longer cord for my location shoots. This works perfect with my Canon 7D Mark II. Should have bought this sooner!

Canon only makes excellent - but pricey - products for their cameras
Canon only makes excellent - but pricey - products for their cameras. It was disheartening that this particular cable is new for the 7D MkII, and has a different camera connector that the one for the original 7D. When I upgraded my camera from the 7D to the Mk II, I had to buy another cable. Boo, Hiss.

Does not work for Canon 5D Mark IV
Hoping this cable can extend my current short HDMI cable comes with my Canon 5D Mark IV camera connection to PC but it does not work. The PC cannot control or see the camera video.
