CompressionZ Men's Compression Pants for Workout, Sports|Base Layer Running Tights Leggings

I've worn the usual lycra bicycling tights for years as an avid cyclist and these tights are MUCH heavier and thicker. These are not regular leggings. Not even close. There seems to be conflicting advice as to order a size up or down. It all depends on your body type if, like me you've been riding bicycles for any length of time you'll have big thighs and need to get a bigger size. I'm 6' tall with a 44" waist the XXL was difficult to get on, and long enough but difficult to get over my thighs and butt. I can still wear them except they're extra squeezy. I've had these tights for some time now, I've gone cycling, cross country skiing, running, hiking and even wore them for coffee at starbucks after a ride. If your wider in the middle or if you've got thunder thighs, go up a size. Just remember, these are compression tights. They're supposed to be tight and squezzy, that's what they do. Recovery after exercise is improved. The waistband stays in place and doesn't slip down. Edit to add: I've lost quite a bit of weight since buying these. My waist is now 39" and the XXL tights are much easier to get on. The XXXL'S are so loose I'll need to size down to get any compression out of them These are the most comfortable sport tights I’ve tried. That’s nearly thirty years of serious cross country skiing and bicycling in all seasons. For winter you’ll need to layer but three season wear should be fine. I’d buy these again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone ! Edit to add: My partner really likes what these compression tights do for my butt and I've had a fair number of compliments from others at the gym too. Edit to add: I just bought a second pair of these tights so I can have one while the other is in the laundry. I'm impressed by the wicking ability of these tights (face it, when "pants" fit this closely they're tights and these are COMPRESSION tights, they're supposed to fit really tight to work. You might need to exchange them. That's what I had to do. I had to up one size. One more edit: I'm up to three pair of these. I've still got the XXL and now have two size XXXL. Now after losing weight and inches off my waist I need to order a smaller size.

First off, these are compression clothes, if you aren’t reasonably fit for your height, BMI, then you may have a tough time getting into & out of them, especially the shirt. Consider a larger size. Overall the quality & fit is excellent. I was a little concerned that at the price point that they would not offer the compression that I was after, but that concern was unfounded. The cut, seams and fit are excellent with no binding, chafing or creeping after extended wear & vigorous activity. The shirt has a grip coating inside the bottom hem. It will stay in place on your skin or probably some other material but it doesn’t grip well to the matching bottoms. Not a problem as it will end up at your belt line and stay there. The shirt is cut long, around 4”-6” below your belt line. The breathability is exceptional, any better and you’ve have to run naked. Actually these are better than naked because they evaporate the sweat instead of it pouring off your body. If you are running or working out in front of a fan, you can feel the air against your bare skin. I’ve run several 5K’s in typical Florida heat, in both the shorts, & full length pants and of course the shirt. I opt for the long pants as they provide support for my calves and they are actually cooler due to the improved sweat evaporation than just the shorts. I’m considering going with the long sleeve shirt for the same reason. Running solitary, I wouldn’t worry too much about modesty, the bottoms do a good job keeping everything in place and smoothed. If you run an event or work out around other people, then you might want to wear some running shorts. Be sure to find the lightest, thinest, no liner, side cut shorts that you can, anything worn over (or under) will feel hot. Same if you decide to wear something over the shirt. My first time out, I wore a t-shirt which was a mistake. I won’t wear anything but the CompressionZ layer unless I need the shorts for modesty. I didn’t know quite what to expect in the way of performance but afterwards it was immediately apparent. Since I mainly wear these while running, keeping your muscles supported & keeping them from jarring/moving/flopping when they relax while your feet pound the pavement makes a tremendous difference in recovery afterwards. This was most evident in my calves. With my calve muscles slamming with each step, they’d ache for days afterwards. Keeping them supported prevents that pain and I can easily run consecutive days. The same is true for your pects, oblique back muscles, glutes etc. Overall, I’m very pleased wth the product, a few more color selections would be really nice. Since I work out every day, I reordered several more sets to get me between washings. A great value in compression wear.

I finally feel that i've given this product a good tryout and I can say I'm very happy with how the product works. It keeps my muscles warm even in the coldest of weather that we've been experiencing here in the Northease. They are very comfortable and I haven't felt so good in recovery in a long time. My only bad feedback on this product is that after about 5 wears the stitching around the waist band began to fall out and it just keeps falling out. I still use the product and don't find many problems with the leggings being less tight, but I think the stitching kind of holds the elastic band in the waist in place, so I find that it twists a little bit when putting them on, not to mention having to deal with additional stitching always falling out. I like the product and will likely buy more of these in the future, but I hope they tighten up their stitching a little.

WOW! These leggings rock! Just did a quad workout with these and totally loved it. When I first got these "tights" (sounds too Robin Hood for me,so I'll call them leggings) I was super impressed by the quality. I received another pair from a different company for half the price and immediately wrapped them back up for a return. I am 5'11" 175lbs,, proportionate build, and these fit completely perfectly. Length is spot on, and they are thick enough and have enough compression that you won't feel too weird or nervous about your man parts. Let's face it, we men have a penis. Don't be afraid if there's a little bulge, you're supposed to have one for crissakes. Women have breasts and flaunt them,relax and own your manliness. We need a new age of man. These leggings will help you get there. Can you wear these without shorts over them? Who the f-bomb is going to wear shorts over these beautiful tights. Forget that. Don't hide the fact you have an as5 and a package. Be happy you do! Anyway, my gym is hot as hell. When I usually do a leg day, I'm so sweaty, I use a towel and dry my legs off throughout. For the first time I wasn't sweaty. I think these make you cooler like they say. They make your backside look nice and guess what? I did the squat test directly into the sun, full bent over. My wife could not see anything - no crack or jack or what have you. The company sent me a cool little email a couple days after purchase telling about how proud they are of them and so on. It was really cool actually. Long story short, these things freakin' rock. It was so funny, I was a little nervous going to the gym for the first time with these. After I was there, it actually felt like I was the one doing the normal thing and everyone else was weird. Now I can't wait to put them on again and workout again. As far as the compression, I can honestly say, even ATG squats, sumo style, were the best feeling ever. CompressionZ did something great here - making men's compression leggings that look and feel good. And the waist wasn't stupidly high either. A plus - why do most companies make them so high rise - friggin' 70's man.

I normally never leave reviews, especially not for workout gear, but I finally felt obligated after realizing my original pair of Compressionz leggings from NOVEMBER 2013 is somehow still alive and well. To put this into perspective: in the same order I placed for these leggings, I was buying a case for my new (at the time) iPhone 5S. They were one of the first compression anything I had ever purchased. Running, lifting, recovery days, random walks, travel, lounging, probably being washed approximately 700 times, etc. The original pair still looks and feels shockingly good. At this point they’ve basically graduated from “performance gear” into trusted veteran casual comfort wear while my newer pairs handle workouts. Over the years I’ve tried plenty of other compression brands, including much more expensive ones (the brands with 3 letters, one of them being X), and Compressionz honestly holds up with the best of them. The compression is legit without feeling suffocating, the material stays comfortable, and they don’t immediately lose their shape after a few months like a lot of athletic gear does now. For sizing, I’d say it’s accurate. I can comfortably wear either Medium or Large depending on how I’m using them. Medium works great for more aggressive compression for recovery, while large is perfect for lifting, recovery, or more casual wear. Honestly, I have zero incentive to write this. No discount code, no free stuff, no brand deal, no Vine BS. What finally pushed me to leave a review was realizing Compressionz is actually a US company (DETROIT, USA). I genuinely had no idea after all these years. At this point I’m expecting to pass my OG 2013 pair of leggings to my children.

Still on the fence about these. I’m 6’5” tall, weigh 180 and have 38” inseam and 33” waist. I don’t have booming legs but I’m very fit. The large fit me well in the waist but after just wearing around the house I found the waist being pulled down because of the short length. Just a few inches short overall for my height but that’s to be expected. It’s impossible to find tall leggings. I haven’t tried a workout yet but I anticipate they’re going to drive me nuts if I have to keep pulling them up. They also made me super cold just wearing them around the house at 65 degrees so I have little faith they’re going to keep me warm running outside in 30-45 degree temps which is why I bought them. I’ll update my review when I have more time in them. They seem well made and mine were pitch black and not dark grey like other reviews.

I ordered these pants because I had strained a muscle playing flag football, and I also wanted a base layer for my legs when playing on cold mornings. I wore them yesterday to play, when it was 20 degrees outside and snowing with a few inches on the ground already. I just had a pair of athletic shorts over them and my legs were never cold (and certainly never hot). Of course I also wore a very nice light jacket and a balaclava and I was moving constantly, but these fit the bill perfectly for my leg needs. As for the compression, the pants feel great. I've never worn compression clothing, so it was a new experience. I played for 3 hours yesterday, and despite still being able to feel the muscle I strained, I did not aggravate the injury and my legs are far less sore today than they were last time. It's hard to say how much can be attributed to the pants, but as far as I'm concerned they were effective. I ordered a large going by the size chart, as my waist is just at the border between medium and large. I'm 6'1" and the pants go over my heel without stretching the fabric, which is exactly where I want them. If you're significantly shorter, you're going to have a bit of fabric bunched at your ankles. I have zero complaints and would recommend these to anyone who needs pants to exercise in, especially if you are prone to injury or are significantly increasing the amount you are exercising. Edit: I forgot to mention the customer service. They really, really want your feedback. I didn't have any issues, but from the contact I had with them (which they initiated), I'm reasonably certain that they would work very hard to correct any issues you might have. In fact, when I told them I hadn't received my package yet, they offered to track it down for me. Very good company, I hope to purchase from them in the future.

I first ordered these to use for biking or yoga. These are as advertised "Experience true compression." I ordered a small, a size that I comfortably wear in similar pants like Willit and Mizok. Small was much too tight for me, but I reordered medium that is perfect. Medium provides much more compression for me than any other small sized pant in this class, this compression is new to me, and I like it. The 82% nylon material is tough and tight like a second leather skin. I've been unable to find a small wetsuit bottom that fits (I just got a paddleboard), so I think that I'll try these for swimming and paddleboarding. Update. I noticed that the Amazon price on these fluctuates, and I purchased two more pair on a price drop. Great deal!

Some posts say they are too tight but they are compression leggings. I'm 6ft with 35-36" waist and they fit me perfectly. They are tight but that to me aids performance when running/jogging. They look great on, the quality is great and the fabric is quality, not like some cheap, thin ones that you can buy. I would definitely buy these again.
