Description

White tea leaves are harvested at a younger age of the plant Camellia sinensis. The leaves are steamed or fried to inactivate oxidation. The leaves are simply left to wither and dry on their own, which gives them a very delicate naturally sweet, and well-rounded flavour.  White tea is less processed, it retains a higher amount of antioxidants of catechins which are present in fresh tea leaves.
