As mentioned in the product description this is made of firm plastic.The edges have a cushioned lining.So, this holds the neck in the correct posture, initially is a bit uncomfortable due to the rigidity, one gets used to it after some time.Has adequate air pockets for air circulation. Note that in hot conditions this may become uncomfortable since it will not absorb sweat.Overall good quality for the price.

Waist product it's too hard not comfortable and suitable for neck pain.i order this product now I am not using a time also because it's too hard .Waist of money ,and there is no exchange also what do now.plz I am requesting exchange my product.

It's a good fit, breathable, soft on skin & extremely comfortable.

Product is for therapeutic use. don't buy if soft collar will do the job. Otherwise product is good, forces neck into upright position and removes the strain on your neck muscles.

I wish I'd had this 8 weeks ago. It would have made these weeks far less miserable for my 87 year old Mom with fractured C-2. I have purchased 2 hard collars and reveived one from the Emergency Department. I purchased 2 different soft collars that were too short around neck and too high under chin. Purchased those two different soft collars in a larger size, plus one other type. Got two soft collars from ER. All too tight because still too short around neck. All of them, hard and soft, were too high under the chin, severly impacting her ability to eat, AND, all of them pushed her hearing aids out of her ears. So. This one came today, same day her doctor told me to stop using the hard collar and spend the next 4 weeks kids n a soft collar. Well, even though this is a "hard collar" I think will be using it as the soft collar. I did have to put an extension on the Velcro. It is still too short. HOWEVER, it fits. Boy, does it fit. Perfect height. Fits under chin without pushing her head up and back. Fits absolutely beneath the ears and doesn't shove the hearing aids out. Amazing product.

habe vor ewigkeiten bestellt, dann kämmen 2 steinharte Teile, hat gar keinen Sinn das zusammen zu schieben, klappt sowieso nicht ------ in den Müll !!!!!!!

collier très rigide, limite confortable, malgré le réglage de la hauteur, je n'ai pas réussi à le supporter très longtemps. Je trouve les bords pas assez rembourrés.
