Does it actually scrape the bottom or just close? I have things that burn right now.

There is a gap but it does the job. We used it to stirring milk caramel which took around 3 hours and it didn't burn it. The battery was enough for the 3 hours.

I am going to use it in the uk. does a normal adaptor do the job? or i need a voltage adaptor to charge it.

the bundled adaptor is wife range from 100v - 240v. however, please note that the product has been extensively tested for US voltages only. the bundled cord also has a standard USB type A interface so in case you have a matching adapter tested in your country, you can use that instead.

If I need to use a voltage converter, what size would I need - 500w?

SAKI Automatic Pot Stirrer comes with a charger rated at 120VAC to 6VDC/0.7A.

OK I have a 3 Gallon stock pot, the descriptions say that it will work on pots up to 8 inches tall but my stock pot is 9 inches will this work on it?

Hi, Thank you for your question. Yes, the description does indicate that the arm adjusts 4-8 inches in height. It will technically still work and stir as long as the diameter of the pot is between 6-10.2 inches, but it will not stir from the bottom of the pot as it will not reach. It will just stay suspended short of the extra inch.
