Not a cheap toy or knockoff
I bought this for hands-free podcasting, and it works great. The sound quality is superb and ease of use is excellent. I found wearing the headset for an hour or two to be comfortable without any needed adjustments or pain. I am so glad that I did not go with a cheaper product made of plastic and cheap parts. This headset is professional and is made of metal with great components. The ONLY thing I do not like is the 4' cord that is attached to it. Realizing that it is designed to be plugged into a belt receiver, I understand why they put a short cord on it, but it is too short for my application. I purchased a a longer male to female phono cord (mono) and now extended the cord for my purpose. But, this product is good.

and it's a great combination. I don't have to lug a mic ...
For leading sing alongs at church - I'm using this with a Roland Mobile Cube and an acoustic guitar, and it's a great combination. I don't have to lug a mic stand and mic; the sound is perfectly adequate (might even be great but I'm not a professional singer so can't really judge). I need an extension cord to give me more flexibility in amp placement, otherwise it would be five stars.

A great replacement for those wishing to ditch their mic stand while staying wired.
I play piano and guitar professionally and the WH20QTR is a great replacement for my stand mounted Shure SM58 I have used for years. Tried the Shure headsets wireless, but ran into too much trouble with interference on some gig venues so I decided to try the wired headset route. I've used the WH20 now for 8 weeks / 30+ stage performances and it has performed like a champ. The head set takes some adjusting to get it comfortable, but, even with my big fat head, it set up well and has retained its shape. Only down side, as others mention, is a short cord. I got an extension to use and mobility behind the keyboard rack is now no problem. A caution: If you get an extension, make sure it is not a heavy cord or connector because your headset will be pulled by its weight. I got a light 12' from Radio Shack and loop it through a belt loop with a little slack on the mic connection end to keep the head set free. As this is the 1/4" plug (not the xlr) gain settings on your amp have to be run twice as hot for this mic compared to the SM 58, but it has a sweet sound once you get it dialed in.

Highly recommend this great value
I purchased this to use with my Yamaha PSR-750 along with a Nady mini mixer to record practice sessions. The mixer died after three days (worked great before it died). Anyway, the mic is great; fits very securely to head and does not move around at all and has great fidelity for my purpose. I can record at home with the TV on in the background and our grandfather clock chiming away (6 feet from the keyboard) and it doesn't pick up any of it. I had to turn the mixer up to about 80% on the volume control to get the right level for my Yamaha's line input. Don't know if this is the fault of the mixer or a smaller voltage from the smaller dynamic element that is inherent with headsets. Would have like a bit more headroom but it was not a problem at all. If you order one be aware that it comes with two windscreens. I didn't realize this so ordered some separately. Now I've got enough wind screens to last a lifetime. You won't find a better one for the price.

Not recommended
It wriggled around on my head when I sang, so I needed constantly to be adjusting it. The signal strength was inadequate. I sold it on Ebay and bought a portable microphone stand..

Buy an amplifier and you won't be disappointed.
I decided 5 stars even though it has 2 flaws. The length of cable is short, barely long enough so I bought an extension cable. And the Out Of Box experience was very quiet when plugged directly into a speaker. So I bought an amplifier. I am super satisfied by it's design when those things are compensated for. So the quality of sound. The sound isolation when everything is super loud around is superior to every other mic I own. If you want to speak without being picked up the mic only needs to be moved an inch from your lips.
