These bulbs are functioning at 20 hours of use so far, (NOTE: the LEDs listed below only 2 of the 6 worked in this fixture) . with the LEDs in use I hold the individual lights in my hand without being burned - Not so with the included 50w Halogen bulb I tried. PROs: 1) Heavy metal construction. 2) Fixture Dual Arms sturdy and do not sag. 3) Each light stays in desired position. 4) attractive design CONs: 1) Interior of each light not a fine of finish as the outside, but acceptable. 2) Heavy fixture, if you have a plastic ceiling electrical box it may sag from the weight (especially if arms are folded on same side). 3) IF included halogen bulbs are used, fixture becomes hot, 50w x 6 = 300 watt electric heater. 4) May not be sufficient "breathing" room for some LEDs (( NOTE: "Frequently bought together " These LEDs DO NOT WORK - overheating and shut off: Triangle Bulbs (6-PACK) LED 6-Watt Dimmable GU10 MR16 60° High Power 50W Equivalent, Warm White Light Bulbs - 6 PACK by Triangle Bulbs - DO NOT WORK! )) -I would have given this fixture 5 stars if Box said "LED approved" ! March 3, 2015 Update: One month later, the Great Eagle LED bulbs (above) are still functioning perfectly. Love the fixture, it puts the light exactly where I want it. Update May 1st 2015 - the LEDs listed above are still working perfectly! (bought in January 2015) I am upgrading from 4 stars to 5 ! Update August 27th 2015 6 months later the Great Eagle LEDs (details above) are working fine in the fixture. Remain very happy with the fixture and the LEDs! They are slightly larger than the halogen lights that came with the fixture, but not much. The power and heat (A/C) savings here in Florida make a big difference 300 w halogen vs. 30 w for the LEDs!

I wanted to replace a fluorescent light fixture in a sewing nook and this one looked promising. I had to get assistance for someone to hold it up while I wired it. Then I had to adjust the center support screw to the correct depth so the fixture would tighten to the ceiling. This was more trouble than it should have been. Once installed, it looks good and provides a lot of light to a closet, a sewing machine and an ironing board. It is very adjustable. I bought 4000K GU10 LED bulbs separately.

This lamp fixture was a challenge to install. There is no way to get the light bulbs properly installed once the fixture is wired up and in position unless you excel at working a top a 6 ft. ladder blindfolded. Another review I read suggested to install the bulbs prior to installing the fixture in place. This I did and was totally unhappy with the bulbs brightness that came with the unit. They were 5,000 mk. Bright harsh light very unpleasant for dining atmosphere. When I exchanged them for 3500mk it made all the difference in the world. However, I had the fixtured installed so I had to stand on a ladder and remove and replace the new bulbs. With persistence, it took me approximately 8-10 minutes per bulbs to get them properly seated in place. There are 6 bulbs. Do the math! Other than that, we are happy with the quality and contemporary look of the fixture.

This is a very well price ceiling light for what you get. It holds 6 GU10 light bulbs and each bulb can be aimed individually. We got this in black and the fixture is beautiful. It’s hard to find a fixture with this many lights and nice design for this price. The installation is tricky. It is held only by a center “nut” that threads into the ceiling support. The downside to this is that since it is only held in the center, the light fixture can rotate about the center by hand if you have it mounted to a very smooth cover plate like we do. This is probably not an issue if mounted on the ceiling drywall directly or an issue in general unless someone is going to swing from the light fixture. We had to use a cover plate to hide the warped drywall from the ceiling fan this replaced. Since you have no way of letting the fixture hang on the ceiling support while connecting the wiring, this was a two person job. This comes with halogen bulbs but I recommend you order LED bulbs as the halogens use high amounts of energy and will cause issues with heat. If using the halogen bulbs, make sure your light switch and wiring is rated to handle the combined bulb wattage. Overall, very happy with this purchase. We got another one in the silver color for our other bedroom.

Love this light fixture so much we just ordered another for the next space over which is like the picture. I only bought one because I wanted to see the product up first before deciding to keep it and order the other. We love the look and it gives off plenty of light. The electrician loved how easy it was to install and this fixture can be adjusted to different angles. Better then your typical track lighting in my opinion. The only down side to this fixture are the bulbs they send with. Instead of sending 6 GU10 LED, they send the Halogen. I hate halogen bulbs. But I ordered LED and replaced them with those very easily. Once we switched on the lights we noticed that the warm white 3700K were too warm looking and don’t really match the color output of the others in our house. So...this time I am trying 3000K to get closer to matching them as far as brightness. FYI...LED bulbs go from approx. 2000K to upwards of 10,000K in brightness. In the average household, you would never need anything above 5000K I would imagine. So, the lower the K the warmer (yellow) the output. Our house has high ceilings and we have four 4000K in our living room and that is really bright, so I am switching them to 3000K LED GU10 also. Will try to follow up with the results in a week or so. PS: no rating on the suction cups for the bulbs because I didn’t need to use it. I’m sure it would have worked though.

Poor construction .Do not buy, period! Now I have 5 large holes in my ceiling and I have to spend around $500 to fixed my ceiling. I was over an hour with amazon. After switching to a supervisor and explaining my situation AGAIN, Joseph offered $ 60 and keep the defective product. An insult. After going back and forth, Joseph FINALLY offered a refund, but I now still have to patch the 1/2 inch holes in my ceiling, feather out the patch, prime and re paint my ceiling. All around $500. He offered NOTHING for that. Product is defective and very poor construction AND no replacement. It is actually now "discontinued". If I was told that from the beginning, I would have never bought the product. Even called Globe and they wanted to replace the track and one of the lights with a cream colored one. Again, an insult. What would I do with a cream color replacement with a black lighting system. I have pictures of one of the lights that the connector was not even soldiered from the manufacture. The electrical contact was just placed in the housing with a bare clean copper wire hanging. It could have created a short and caught on fire. Have no clue how that made it through QA/QC. This leaves me really thinking about buying from Amazon again!

Outside looks good, nice brushed look. Gives off a ton of light but also a lot of heat! Be aware of the heat, don't ever try to adjust the lights when they are on, it will burn you. Inside the cones the metal is unfinished, nicked up, just ugly. You can definitely see it because the "hoods" are lit up by the light. Regardless, for the price it is a good piece (this is the exact same as the Lowe's Portfolio version that is 120+). Install was very easy with a ladder. I don't like how cheap and thin the wiring is (probably 22 gauge), but that is a complaint I have about all wiring these days. I needed more light in the kitchen and this was a good quick fix overall. I would still recommend the product, just don't stare at it too closely

I bought two of these for our walk-in closets. We're really happy with the product and the price is great. I like that you can configure them in a "V" shaped pattern or orient them in a line. The two arms have a slight curve that gives them a nice style. One of our closets had a junction box that was off-center so the "V" shaped pattern worked best. The weight in this "V" configuration pulled the fixture base off the ceiling slightly on one side (1/4") but a more sturdy junction box would probably reduce this gap if bothered someone. I ordered LED bulbs for one of the two systems because I needed to reduce the load on the circuit. I decided on a wide angle LED flood light (I'd say it's coverage is around 60 degrees). The total bulb cost was 2x more than the fixture but the outcome was great. I've had four people vote on whether they like the stock halogen bulbs that came with the fixture or the LED. All four have picked the LED. They provide a slightly cooler light but are brighter than the halogen. The bulbs are slightly longer than the halogen and just barely extend past the bottom of the fixture but I didn't feel it was an issue. I added the LED product link. The bulbs are a bit tricky to install but with a little patience they work well.

To change the bulbs is a big pain, but we put LEDs in so hoping we won't need to again for quite a while.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I received it today, and installed in 15 minutes. The quality is good. It is not plastic like others have written. It rotates 350 degrees. It is nice and bright. Really glad I did not listen to the negative reviews. The good reviews outweighed the bad. You really need to install the bulbs first with the suction cups provided. It came with 6 bulbs that all worked. Might change to leds instead.

Easy to install and looks great in my new white kitchen!
