We used it to run two sets of globe lights around our pool area, and the results are fantastic.It came with all the necessary hardware, and the quality of the guide wire is impressive. This is a great hardware kit for hanging your string lights at a long distance. The hardware is stainless steel and solid. The wire feels solid and appropriately sized. The sheathing thickness on the cables is a good quality. Planning your runs and confirming your hardware usage prior to starting will allow you to be prepared for your job. More than likely you will need more cable ties if you are running more than two sets of 48’ long string lights. This kit also includes twist ties but I opted to get more cable ties locally. The turnbuckles allow you to tighten or loosen the cables if they stretch or you make the cables a little too long. I had no difficulty installing the cable run other than getting up and down the ladder. A second set of hands would help but is not required. Id recommend this set to support your strong lights.

The wire is strong. All the hardware that comes with it is amazing; it's good quality and more than sufficient for most large jobs.

This is a great set that includes (almost) everything you need to hang outdoor lights. We put up multiple spans of this in our screened enclosure for our pool in Florida to hang lights from. The only issue is with the screws. They suck. I predrilled the aluminum and 3 out of the first 4 included screws that I used to attach the anchors sheared off at the screwhead while starting them in the holes. A trip to my local orange home improvement store for some self tapping stainless steel screws did the trick. I still predrilled the holes, but self tapping screws are easier when on a 15' ladder the quality of all other connectors/pieces and wire are great, and I'm super happy with how it turned out.

I seldom do this but, this was a great purchase. I’m the super picky perfectionist that wants it all and this kit really surprised me. Smaller parts than what I was expecting, but they really delivered. All the parts were super handy and the cable was awesome. It was on small spool yet the cable had no memory…..dead straight. With multiple connections this kit made hanging the support wire a breeze. Buy it.

Initial review: This is a very handy kit for hanging lights and other projects. I used it for hanging edison lights in my backyard. All the parts seem sturdy and of good quality. I really like the loop fastener that uses hex nuts on a machine thread instead of a ferrule where you have to crimp the wire permanently. If you make a mistake and your wire is too long, no problem. Just loosen the nuts and start over. I was able to hang two 48 light strings with plenty of parts and cable left over. The turnbuckles and wall connectors seem sturdy. Even the bags that the parts were packaged in were thick plastic ziplock bags. Another huge plus is the instructions are very good, in clear english and aided by useful diagrams, printed on durable slick paper so it doesn't fall apart. I had no problem understanding any of it. (I can't tell you how many things I have bought that have poorly written, hard to read instructions on paper that gets ruined easily while you're working.) I will update this review in time if anything changes.

This is a great idea. The kit has everything you need to create a sturdy, custom made line to hang your outside lights. I ended up creating three lines of about 50 feet each with the tensioners and carabiners. It's good enough to hold a full 48 feet line of LEDs bulbs with a fairly heavy gauge wire. It looks great. The kit comes with plastic zip-ties to keep the whole rig together. Simple, elegant, easy to install. Let's see how long it lasts. If you are planning to string some lights in your backyard for an after-dark gathering, this is a great option.
