Travis Touch Smart Translator - 105 Languages, Touch Screen, Two Way Translations, Wireless Charging, 4G LTE

This is such a simple yet incredible piece of technology that I wish I had years ago! I have been working for the last couple of years across Greece, Serbia and Bosnia in the refugee crisis with our charity Indigo Volunteers. One of the biggest challenges we face is not being able to communicate with service users. This leads to misunderstandings, time delays, and a lot of frustration for both sides. With this Travis device, people will feel heard and we will understand their needs so much better, which will lead to a better experience for everyone involved. I am also usually not great with technology, but this is so easy to navigate and the touch screen makes it almost like using a smartphone. I really recommend this to anyone who would find it helpful to communicate with people using different languages to their own, whether it be in a professional or personal setting :-)

I bought one of these in Vietnam in December 2019. In January 2020 , two new software updates came down which have made the device much much better. It is essential to have good connectivity, as without it the device is useless for any of the "cloud" languages such as Vietnamese. Make sure you choose your SIM card provider wisely or tether off of your phone via wifi.

I work in France this is why I bought this product but I found from my French colleagues that the translation is is poor and often not correct not impressed with this product

Compré Travis con la idea de regalárselo a mi padre pero lo he estado probando con amigos que hablan diferentes idiomas para ponerlo a prueba y te echas unas risas, traduce muy bien (aunque algunos giros son traducciones literales). Recuerdo la primera generación cuando andaba por Indigogo y estéticamente este Travis pintaba mejor. La usabilidad es muy sencilla, fácil de navegar y más idiomas de los que mi padre va a usar, pero es un cacharro con gran potencial. La función offline es mejorable pero se conecta a los datos del móvil cuando no hay wifi y listo. También se puede insertar una tarjeta SIM local. Nada más conectarlo a internet me salió el mensaje de actualización. 5 estrellas!!

ich bin mit dem gerät sehr zufrieden eine echte hilfe auf reisen wenn man der sprache nicht so gut mächtig ist. die bedienung ist sehr einfach.

hab das produkt jetzt seit 2020.hab es nie benutzt.wollte es jetzt benutzen aber es teilt mir mit dass es gesperrt ist

Buongiorno. Tutto è andato molto bene. Il traduttore funziona perfettamente, per esempio con il francese, lo spagnolo e l' inglese,un filino meno con il vietnamita, ma è comunque accettabilissimo.Consegnato a tempo debito ad un prezzo che mi è parso onesto. La batteria mi sembra molto capiente,il volume è più che sufficiente, è comunque opportuno connetterlo allo smart, non in blutouth perchè in tal caso funzionicchia lentamente.In Wi-fi (rete)non l' ho provato, ma sicuramente andrà alla grande.Penso si abbia la possibilità di inserirci una SIM (internazionale)solo dati e così lo si userà ovunque in maniera del tutto autonoma. Tra i traduttori dello smart e questo Travis,non ci sono paragoni: il Travis è nettamente superiore.
