Spot Says Goodnight

My 8 month old grandson love the flaps and loves turning the pages all by himself. It is a good, short story with plenty of interactions on most every page. The pages of this board book are thick and ready for his little hands to turn. The flaps for the hidden items are well glued and sturdy. The story is cute and great to get the little guy settled down for a nap.

I adore the SPOT books and the soft SPOT himself. My 2 and 4 year old grandsons enjoy these books; especially the 2 year old. He wants me to read SPOT SAYS GOODNIGHT over and over and let him lift the flaps. He has fun every time. I would suggest that every2 and 3 year old boy and girl should have the experience of enjoying and learning with the SPOT books.

My 3 year old Neice LOVES this book. We read it so much, she has the whole thing memorized and just reads it to me lol cute book.

Our son has loved spot books since the first one we read to him! He loves the lift-up flaps on each page and discovering what’s underneath is so fun for him! We highly recommend these books!

My son loves this book, and we have a lot of fun reading it at bedtime. Sturdy construction and bright colors. Definitely recommended for toddlers.

My son has another Spot lift-the-flap book that he loves, so I thought this bedtime version would be nice. I wasn't wrong-- my son loves it. He's 14 months and has just figured out how to "lift" the tabs: these are sturdy enough that I'm not worried he'll rip or damage the tabs, and hey're also big and loose enough that he can do it fairly easily. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that a lot of these tabs aren't "simply" oriented-- that is, they aren't hinged exactly on the horizontal or vertical so they lift directly up or to the side. Some of them lift up on weird angles, which does add interest, but which I found really confusing the first time. Over time, though, you get used to it. I would definitely recommend this one.

I have many Spot books for my one and a half year old grandson. He loves to lift the flaps and see what is underneath. It gives him a way to be involved in the book. We read them over and over.

Excellent ! Fun to read and your child is able to interact with the book by lifting flaps to reveal hidden objects. Keeps children actively involved.

My 4 year old absolutely loves lift the flap books and this one has been no exception. You can't go wrong with Spot really, lovely bright colours, easy story for a small child to follow and cute little drawings. What wouldn't a child love about it? The price is also very respectable, I paid £5 and my son has read this more times than i can count. It has taken pride of place next to Dinner time for Spot and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's sturdy and children can turn the thick pages themselves, great for toddlers with a keen interest in reading. If your child likes Spot this will be a welcome addition.

Very good book

Fantástic book! My grandaughter just loves it and wants to read it over and over again. Terrific and very colourful pictures which really atract her attention and the hard cover is really perfect as it doesnt fall apart like others. Overall a fantastic little book and no doubt will be buying more for her in the months to come. Thanks.

Ein sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Buch, dass immer wieder gerne angeschaut wird. Kleine Kinder können sich gut damit beschäftigen und immer wieder hinter die Klappen schauen. Im Eifer des Spiels ist eine Klappe abgerissen, aber prinzipiell sind die Klappen stabil. Wir finden es schön, dass die Zeichnungen nicht kitschig sind, wie in manch anderen Büchern für Kleinkinder.
