Yes it does. These are great headphones.

Did this work when plugged in or did you have to disable laptop speakers to get sound through headphone?

Click on bottom right speaker icon in windows. Select the one you want to use: laptop or headset. You don’t have to disable anything. Once you plug this in windows should recognize it.

I just purchased this headset about 2 weeks ago...it plugged in, with no issues at all. I am on windows 10. Uncertain of what the issue may be for you. Unless there is a defect with the headset.
