Will this vacuum be good for picking up dry cat litter?  I just want to use it for a little litter that gets scattered.

Yes.   My cat's name is Elvira and she will testify under oath that this screaming, possibly cat-eating machine is effective in both picking up dry kitty litter and for chasing her to hide under the bed.

Question 2

What's the relationship between power amp vs volts vs watts??, I'd like to know the power of the vacuum,  and do some comparisons among them, because for me the power is one of the most important features, but some models give you amps, others volts, others watts! so if anybody can give a straight answer I'd appreciate…

On the the Dirt Devil Scorpion the sweeper shows 120 volts-60 hz and 7 amps.I find this hand sweeper has a lot of power.I use it more than I do my large sweeper.It is easy to handle and I use to get behind things.Also works great in the car as I live in Florida and go to the beach a lot so have sand in my car.Really picks that up.Hope this helps you as I not real good on volts and amps but before I bought this sweeper I checked what my old one had.This has more I have used Dirt devil sweepers for close to 10 years.

Is this a good vacuum cleaner for the car?

Yes...it is a small size, and will, I believe, fit under and around most seats.  Be aware that it is not cordless, and will need a nearby power source.  The cord, however, is quite long.

Does it have a car plug? I intend to use it for my car but I won't be using an electrical outlet just the usual built in Car cig outlets
