It's a drop in filter, but I had to keep adjusting for it to fit all the way in on my can am spyder.

Dieser Luftfilter passt besser als der Originale! Macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und lässt sich, wie sagt man, saugend und schnaubend in das Luftfiltergehäuse einstecken, einfach erstklassig! Auch der Deckel zum verschließen des Gehäuses sitzt jetzt stramm und die Dichtung am Deckel tut was sie tun sollte, sie drückt sich etwas zusammen und der Deckel rastet sauber mit einem Klack ein! Der originale Luftfilter hatte zuviel Spiel, man konnte ihn völlig ohne Wiederstand ins Gehäuse stecken und der Deckel ging super leicht zu zudrehen ohne das die Dichtung in irgend einer Weise ihren Namen gerecht wurde. Der K&N Luftfilter ist deutlich besser!!! Der Motor läuft perfekt, ich bin sehr zufrieden!!!

I installed the K&N CM-8012 high performance replacement air filter as a direct replacement for the factory filter. It fit properly in the airbox and installed easily with no modifications needed.
