Draper 33 Piece Security Bit Set | 1/4" Metric Screwdriver Kit | 25mm Precision Hand Tools Accessories | Heavy-Duty Storage Case | 82406

I purchased this set after being caught out while carrying out maintenance on my home battery system. When I came to remove the cover, I discovered it was secured with tamper-proof (security) Torx screws, something I hadn’t anticipated. Fortunately, this set contained exactly the security Torx bit I needed, allowing me to open the cabinet without any difficulty. The bits appear to be well made from quality steel, and being a Draper product, the overall quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from the brand. The magnetic bit holder is a useful addition, holding the bits securely and making them easy to use during the job. The storage case also keeps everything neatly organised, making it easy to find the correct bit when required. My only minor criticism is that the magnetic bit holder, which sits in the centre of the case, is quite a tight fit and can be a little awkward to remove the first few times. It’s only a small point, but worth mentioning. Overall, an excellent little kit that got me out of trouble and now lives permanently in my toolbox. If you ever come across security screws unexpectedly, it’s reassuring to know you have the correct bit to hand.

This is a very handy set for those unusually found locking fastenings, which can be frustrating if you don’t have the right bit. I bought the set because I needed one particular bit to dismantle a fishing reel. I was a bit miffed to have to buy many when I needed one, however, it wasn’t long until I found I needed other bit options. Inexpensive and well made. It won’t be long before you’ll need something this set has to offer. I recommend you buy a set and get it in your tool box.

Good quality bit set, but the case is so tight around them I needed pliers to remove teach bit from the case.

Very useful set of security type bits. Good selection of the most usual sized bits plus a few very rarely used , but frustratingly hard to get when needed to undo something. Decent quality and reasonable price.

good selection of bits that I needed that are not always in a standard pack of bits. great that they are magnetic, compact and great quality by Draper
