Happy with purchase.
The setup in my 2014 4Runner. Running a 5 channel NVX amplifier. Focal 6.5 in doors and tweeter in factory locations. 2 Dayton Audio 8โ subwoofers in ported box. I wanted to add a front subwoofer for mid bass. Was able to make a box for under front drivers seat, with .2 CU FT. played with different crossover points and settled on high pass at 50HZ. Low pass at 120. Output was no problem. Had to turn down the amp gain to match the other speakers. Sounds great and gives an extra punch the brings the bass up front. Also acts as a bass shaker under my seat. I feel like it is built well. I like that it can go in a small sealed box. Base does roll off below 50HZ. My amp is rated at 150 watts bridged. It does not clip with my setup. Over all Iโm impressed. Would buy again.

Great bang (literally) for your buck!
I got 2 of these to replace the factory under seat woofers in my BMW. For what it is, it really makes great bass, certainly much better then the boomy and soft sounding Harmon Kardon system that came with the car. So instead of just hearing deep sounding bass, you can now feel it. On top of that, the factory speakers can't reproduce the really low bass. From my experience, the bass rolls off at nearly 100hz! So anything under 100hz, you can barely hear it. With the new amp and these speakers, you can hear all the way down to 20hz. You can FEEL it all the way down 20hz. Of course, these will never be as powerful as a 12" sub box in the trunk, but if need as much trunk space as I can get, then these should satisfy your bass needs without sacrificing any trunk space. FYI, I paired this with a Kenwood 500W (@2ohms) mono amp and it's a great match. A mistake many people make is getting an amp to match the speakers RMS handling 1:1. However, to properly power subwoofers, you will want an amp that's 1.5x to 2x the RMS handling power. Also, if you're putting this is the BMW F30, you will need the adapters and remove the little "fins" inside the sub enclosure to make this it properly.

Work best with an aftermarket amp
These things are a definite upgrade from the weak stock subs I had in my E60 hifi system. I run them from an aftermarket amp and they give good clean crisp bass. They aren't going to set off any car alarms in the neighborhood when you drive by but I was going for a set up that stimulates my home studio set up and these worked out perfect for what I was looking for.

BMW M3 - Perfect Fit. Don't pay over double the price for anything else.
I blew the woofer under the seat in my 2011 BMW M3. I verified my amp was okay by wiring a random home speaker to the woofer output in my car. Luckily it worked. I did some research on options and these speakers are the best value for an easy drop-in replacement speaker. You must get the Earthquake Sound R8SWS Installation Ring Adapter for Speakers to avoid any Dremel work to make the speaker fit. The rings also make wiring easier. The only downside I can think about is that you have to splice into or cut the factory wire tips to install these speakers. A male BME quick connector would have been nice.

Yes they sound great but they blew within a couple of months It ...
I went through 2 pairs. Yes they sound great but they blew within a couple of months It cost a fortune to install under my seats , BMW M 3 convertible. Moving onto to another company.

They work well, Quality control isnโt the best.
Iโve gone through a pair already which both separated at the tinsel lead and spider. Only feeding the pair 250 Watts set clean. Second pair has lasted longer, sounds great in my e90 stock locations. But now, the dust caps come off. First it was the passenger side, glued it back no problem. But then my driver side dust cap comes off!! Seriously guys, be generous with the glue, there was hardly any under my caps.

Direct replacement
These were direct drop ins for my 2012 BMW X5M...they sound pretty solid. Will be putting a small amp on them soon
