NO leak lucky not blame the heater core. smelling cooler have to drive few day.

Fit well
Had coolant leak on my 2000 VW Jetta (tdi). This quick connect is for the heater core inlet and outlet. Easy to install, just be sure it goes on straight and is pushed all the way on. There is an o-ring inside so make sure not to damage that. Then the retaining clip should snap in easily.

Not designed for my car, but works great
This worked perfectly for my saab 9-3 V6 and is a great replacement since they do not make the original part anymore.

Right Part Number. Wrong Part.
Zero stars. While the part number on bag this came in matches exactly my original VW part number molded on the old part, the part contained is NOT EVEN CLOSE. Since there is no printed part number on the new one, I am unable to see if some inept worker at URO Parts put the wrong hose connector in the right bag and sealed it up or what? The original part has 1 o-ring seal, this part has 2. The original part had a clearance depth of 1/8 of an inch more than was provided on the new part. Since only the o-ring was bad on the original part, I took one out of this new part and fitted it in the old part. So far so good (3 days as of this writing 3/30/15. Fingers crossed. If I had actually had to pay for this part (I got a refund thanks to UPS inability to understand that 2 day shipping means 2 days, not the 6 I waited) I would have raised hell.
